Slooooooow Do not buy for business purposes. It is very very slow. Prints one page then thinks, then another. It is very annoying. Might be ok to use as a personal printer if you do not print often. This is in an office of 2 people only and it takes forever to get it to do anything.
I spent over a month trying to get it installed There's not anything I liked about this product. Since I could not get it installed I was unable to see all of its features. Tech Support was very limited and mostly unhelpful. I returned the printer via Amazon.
Bad Experience With Tech Support I really needed the phone guidance, to get the printer to print. I reached the point of successful WiFi communication between my Windows 10 PC and the printer, but it still wouldn't print. I called Brother Tech Support, and it took 90 minutes on hold. The worst! I should have canceled my order initially. When I contacted Brother to see what the minimum print margins were they had no clue what I was talking about. After a 1/2 hour chat they said they'd have to email me, they finally figured it ot, ok great the print margins work with the labels I bought. Then I go to print the labels after everything arrived. They hardly ever print straight. One time they'll be perfect, the next (with the same exact settings) they're off center and my print ends up being outside the lines ... read more
HUGE waste of money I purchased this printer less than a year ago. I have now replaced the toner THREE times and I hardly use this thing! The tone is around $80 a pop. I regret this purchase so much! Don't make the same mistake I did!
Aggravating and a pain to use! This printer does not play well with Mac. It also works inconsistently with AT&T routers. Talked with Brother tech support several times and they could not resolve the issue. All technicians could do was send me generic tech support bulletins detailing how to establish wi-fi connection. Troubleshooting revealed printer was connected correctly, but it would quickly go into deep sleep and not wake. Very Slow Either if you use it with wifi or usb the printings BW or colors take for ever.
Would not recommend Not even a year later and the printer says no toner even though there is a drum filled with fresh toner installed. Troubleshot with website and says if it still appears contact warranty department. Furious to have to do this for the second time with our second brother laser printer. Never again will I purchase a brother.
An Absolute Piece of Junk Useless for wireless printing. On my Mac, I can sometimes get it to print via wireless network if I uninstall and reinstall the drivers. Otherwise, nothing. Sometimes others in my household can print from their PCs. I've uninstalled, reinstalled, updated and reset the printer and it's firmware, as well as the software on all my machines multiple times and it just never works properly.
