Smudges on every page We purchased this printer so we could keep up with the school work that teachers would be sending during virtual learning. It worked well for the first week or so, but then it started smudging every page that came out. I've gone through the steps listed in the Brother Support page, but this only helped for a while. We should not be seeing this type of smudging after only a month or so and shouldn't have to buy a new toner cartridge because the one that came with the unit was defective.
Copier The machine is quite heavy, but copying is not very fast, there is no scanning function, not as good as expected, buyers who need scanning function are not recommended to buy
NOT compatible with XP computers. I have several Brother printers and this is the first one not compatible with older XP computers. My Windows 7 and Windows 10 matchines all work well. The WIFI print capability is very useful if you have multiple networks with different IP addresses,.
Sucks. This printer sucks. I am a longtime user of the monochrome duplex brother that is an absolute work horse. I moved and gifted it to a friend and thought I'd upgrade to one with color. Could not have been more wrong. 1. Didn't even last a year (11 months) Reports "NO TONER" no matter what you do. This was right after a genuine Brother black cartridge replacement. If the print quality hadn't been going downhill in the last 6 months, I would have tried to get help getting it fixed but I'm just going to replace it with an Epson Ecotank. I remember when brother used to be good quality. Definitely our last after many brother printers.
Big clunky and doesn't have option for two-sided printing Purchased this model to replace a smaller Brother printer we had for several years. The ink heads seemed to become clogged on the old printer otherwise we were very happy with it, especially with cost of ink. Could not get heads unclogged despite cleaning. The HL-L3210CW is 50% larger and does not allow double-sided printing as with our previous Brother printer. This is a huge disappointment. Dead power supply after 7 months. Power supply died after 7 months with an error ZC...now I get to figure out how to repair/return
Don't waste your money I previously gave this printer a favorable rating but I must change it because of my absolute FRUSTRATION and waste of time trying to get the printer to work with manual fed paper through the manual feed slot. It works sporadically but most of the timer you'll spend hours trying to figure out why it won't work. I bought the printer for my home office, and have spent too many hours trying to make it work properly. Maybe the Canon company should study HP printers to learn how the work.
WT Box End Soon.....at 253 pages printed. So basically the Waste Toner Box is already about dead, and I've only printed 250 pages when it's supposed to be rated for 50,000. The warranty on "consumables" is only a pathetic 3 months, and even that's if you pay to have the entire huge thing shipped in. Which makes this printer a complete and utter waste of money.
