Didn’t work! Did not work! Had a tech specialist come in, thinking that maybe I was doing something wrong, and he said that no, in fact, the machine simply doesn’t work!
Can’t use once it goes into deep sleep Worked great until it went into deep sleep mode. Everyone online says this is a problem, but i can’t find the solution to it. The customer service is hard to use too. I spent an hour with amazon customer service and they can’t figure it out either
Do not buy I have bought other Brother printers an had good luck. Not with this one. It is supposed to WiFi into our router. It kinda does. If it sits over the weekend without use I need to shut down the printer and restart for it to WiFi to work off the desktop computer. It will not print from an iPhone or iPad. I did call support and I was able to print via WiFi from my iPad and iPhone for 1 day. The next day it didn't work. I can't call support every time it goes offline. Do not buy this printer.

Brother HL-L8260 CDW Color Laser Printer - 2 years and 30,000 pages later I purchased the Brother HL-L8260 CDW color laser printer in July 2017. I did use it mostly during 2017 and 2018 where I probably printed around 23, 00 pages or so. During 2019, I only used it to print in black and I only printed the remaining 7,000 pages this year. good print quality with a major costly flaw. Don't buy this printer!!! I have had to replace this brother printer because after several months they will wrap a piece of paper or a label around the heat roller. There are no instructions on how to remove the heat roller and so you end up picking it out in small pieces and eventual damaging the roller which ruins the printer. It is SLOW This printer takes 15 seconds+ to start the first page and if send multiple pages, ever few pages, it will stop and then take 15+ seconds again to start. I does not operate at all like it says. I am looking for a replacement and rest assured it will not be a Brother brand EVER AGAIN. This printer is about 1 month old and I am going to just donate it. I would just stay away from this Brand, it has gone WAY DOWN HILL in terms of quality.
Toner Runs out Fast! We replaced our B&W Brother Laser Printer with the HL L8260CDW. We used to get months of printing out of the older printer, which lost it's wifi capability. We've replaced the CYAN cartridge twice in three weeks, along with the magenta and black cartridges. We have now spent more on toner in one month than we spent on the printer. Very Slow Printing / Rinky Dink Quality This product boasts a 33PPM color print speed. COMPLETELY FALSE. When a print job is sent to the printer, it power surges so hard that the meter on my APC XS 1300 Back-UPS drops about 70% and it takes 15 seconds for the job to start. Every 4 or 5 pages it stops printing for 15 seconds, then starts printing again. It prints 9PPM max. I have updated the firmware, the drivers and software are all up-to-date.
