Everything was delicious!! I tried just about everything lol...Seasonal sweet potato 10/10. Kale salad huge 10/10. Brussels sprouts were good 7/10. Chicken Caesar wrap 8/10(I would rather have the kale instead of the romaine) Chicken fresh hot and very tasty especially with the various spices/finishings 9/10 (lemon pepper, buffalo, original honey dust were my favorites).Mashed potatoes with gravy 9/10. Had a taste for chicken. We stopped ion and was seated right away. The weather was still nice out and you could dine inside or outside. We chose inside. It was bright light seating. Customer service was good. There were several chicken items on the menu. I got the three-piece chicken with potato wedges and a lemonade. All was delicious. Easily a 10/10! This was my first visit to D.C. and a friend suggested I stop by Honeymoon; I'm so glad I did. I was greeted as soon as I walked in and grabbed a seat at the bar (I went in the early afternoon, so it was pretty empty.) I ordered the chicken sandwich, which was absolutely delicious. The portion size was perfect and the chicken itself wasn't too salty. I ordered a side of Brussel sprouts which were tasty as well. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in the city!

I've been to Honeymoon a couple times and the chicken is easily one of the best in D.C. This time I got the hot honey chicken sandwich, as well as an apple slice lemonade. The sandwich was juicy, a little spicy but not overpowering, flavorful and the bun is high quality. I enjoyed the diner feel of the restaurant and service was also great.

Updated review, had honeymoon chicken catered at an event I was at. The food was very delicious. Much better than the first time I tried them. The food options were fried chicken, wings, cauliflower, Brussel sprouts, Mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, and rolls. The fried chicken and rolls were the same as I remember, personally not my favorite. The cauliflower, Brussel sprouts, Mac and cheese and mashed potatoes were excellent. Hello extended yelp family most of us know and fried chicken review has 2 parts. The review when the chicken is hot, and the review of the taste when its cold. So here we go. I found myself munching on Brussel sprouts and eating cold honeymoon chicken watching netflix at 4 in the morning. Who does that, i mean really. But yup there i was stuffing my face with Brussel sprouts, didnt even know i liked them till i tasted these. Shocked and pleasantly surprised i ll be back yumm

OMG This chicken is great. This is my new favorite go to place. No lie, go go fast. I got a 8 peice bucket with large mac & cheese and large sprouts. This honey crispy skin is the real deal. Even my toes are happy

So. Freaking. Good. My daughter told me of this place and she wasn't joking about how good it was. I will seek this place out every time we are in DC.
