I've been to Honeymoon a couple times and the chicken is easily one of the best in D.C. This time I got the hot honey chicken sandwich, as well as an apple slice lemonade. The sandwich was juicy, a little spicy but not overpowering, flavorful and the bun is high quality. I enjoyed the diner feel of the restaurant and service was also great.

Updated review, had honeymoon chicken catered at an event I was at. The food was very delicious. Much better than the first time I tried them. The food options were fried chicken, wings, cauliflower, Brussel sprouts, Mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, and rolls. Hello extended yelp family most of us know and fried chicken review has 2 parts. The review when the chicken is hot, and the review of the taste when its cold. So here we go. I found myself munching on Brussel sprouts and eating cold honeymoon chicken watching netflix at 4 in the morning. Who does that, i mean really. But yup there i was stuffing my face with Brussel sprouts, didnt even know i liked them till i tasted these. Shocked and pleasantly surprised i ll be back yumm

OMG This chicken is great. This is my new favorite go to place. No lie, go go fast. I got a 8 peice bucket with large mac & cheese and large sprouts. This honey crispy skin is the real deal. Even my toes are happy

The fried chicken is so perfectly fried and the honey is a great addition. The brussel sprouts are also delicious as a side. The employees who service the customers are hard working and friendly too. I enjoy this spot.

This was my first time visiting Honeymoon Chicken, and after hearing so many great things, I had to try it for myself. The food did not disappoint. Everything was amazing! We ordered the lemon pepper wings, a 3-piece dark with spicy honey dust, the apple hand pies, mac and cheese, and the cilantro coleslaw.
