the room i booked was a terrace fire pit, however, it faced construction of a parking lot, the pictures of the view from expedia were deceiving. It mentioned nothing of construction view. Front staff was significantly overwhelmed. On hold for over 15 minutes just to request ice (because all ice machines are closed) took another hour for the ice. The hotel is great view, clean, and really nice, but the for what you pay the service should be better.
No review. I’m not into social media shaming. Let’s just say it was really expensive and very disappointing.
Customer Service was horrible. Property was very outdated and needed updating. Room was old. Tiki Bar and live music was awesome.
The website says it is under construction however it doesn't indicate that all the historic and neat structures of the hotel are off limits. The entire lobby is shut down and the temporary lobby is in the courtyard. To get to the pool or any restaurant you need to go outside and walk down the public beach access path to get to the beach side of the resort. They don’t tell you all the hidden fees , so every time I went to the front desk it was more and more money or things I don’t buy or order and I got charged I had to spend a lot of time dealing with front desk issues
I liked the beautiful beach and pool area. But that was all. The hotel was a mess. We arrived at 11:00 pm on Friday exhausted. We were placed in a room in building three on the fourth floor, and to get to it, there was only one elevator that held one person and one piece of luggage. So we climbed the four flights. The hotel felt like it was sinking. The stairs were set on a 33 degree angle which felt like it was uneven.
