One can only sigh: "How the mighty have fallen." Hard to believe that the vacation home to Gable, Lombard and Monroe has turned into this shabby plebeian mess. Construction noise at dinner time, shouting children, endless corridors of fading carpet. Imagine Gable and Lombard in a 50 person check-in line waiting for service that rivaled the inefficiency of U.S. Customs. Never, I repeat never, again. Truly shameful

Is under construction. Absolutely gorgeous but a lot going on right now there. There were no cleaning services while staying there so our room got filled with towels that no one would take or empty the trash. this was a disappointment since the rooms are small. i think once they get done with the consctruction and the cleaning staff if hired back after pandemic things will be better

Stay away from this hotel Horrible experience. The hotel is u dear construction both inside and outside. We had to move rooms repeatedly because the staff had no clue where the interior construction was, which was throughout the Victorian original building. We ended up in a room at the very top, but all stairs and elevators were closed for construction. Which was concerning because the upper floors feel like a fire trap. Our fitbits showed the walk from our room to the exit was 800 steps each way. Only one old elevator worki... read more

Don’t go until remodel is done!!! Our room was directly in front of a construction sight on the hotel property! We immediately requested a new room and were put into the antiquated part of the hotel! We requested another room as it was old and had zero amenities...Even the TV was antiquated! They claimed that was the best offer as we went through “a third party” to book a reservation! We left and rebooked at Lowe’s Coronado down the street where it was magical!!

I was terribly disappointed-construction noise, inaccurate information about whether the restaurants were open, no housekeeping, gym was closed, poor signage in re: to construction changes, multiple key failures. Wouldn’t recommend

Obviously being on the beach is the only plus. The staff was non-existent. They clearly are only on point during the summer; rest of the year significantly lacking.

Terrible views for a $500 room.... expected more.... new renovations. Don’t stay in the Cabana section

Outdated rooms. Not a four star resort, granted that the hotel is dealing with COVID, no lighting above shower or spider webs around room lighting had no excuse.
