Disappointed in service I realize Covid and other circumstances have caused businesses to modify employee scheduling/services, etc. But it would be great if the hotel could tell customers what is open and what is closed on their website before we book and invest our dollars to stay at their location. When I arrived I asked about the fitness center - I was told nope - not available, how about other facilities - depends. Clean hotel and nice looking but beds are extremely uncomfortable and walls are thin so it's very noisy. Don't expect a good night sleep

Complete disappointment. Would NEVER stay here again. Looked forward to staying at this historic property for years. Staff was rude and nowhere to be found, hotel completely in accommodating to basic requests. No amenities. Outdated rooms that were FILTHY. Loud construction noise early each morning. This was a 1 star experience for a 5 star price. Don’t make the same mistake! There are many other beautiful properties all over San Diego. Not as good as advertised ! I had the worst checkin experience of my life at hotel Del Coronado. Checkin time is 4pm but they did not have any rooms available. All guests had to stay in this long line just so they could take our credit card information and a phone number. They would text us when the room was ready. The text never came; two hours later I had to stand in the line again to check on status and finally a third time to get my room keys. Room was not clean when arrived. There were stains in the fridge... Even worst, there were a bunch of bugs (termites?) in the window. Stay away!! I have never had such a horrible check in experience.

Disappointing! Spent $300 for very old , tiny and non-ocean view room. Had to pay extra $150 for upgrade to a old-condition ocean view room with balcony. Nothing was the same with the online website (so-called remodel room) also $40 overnight parking fee. Definitely not worth it.

Terrible service at the front desk; waited 20minutes to hear that our room was only available 2 hours after the check-in time and the staff didn't apologize a minute or offer any form of compensation.
