I have always wanted to stay here. Unfortunately, it was disappointing. This property is run down and is being renovated. The beds are so bad my husband and I are still experiencing back pain 4 days later. The Del is a great property and I am sure it will be back to it original glory next year sometime. The prices are high for the conditions of the rooms and property right now.

asked ahead for early check in, knowing it not always possible arrived about 1:00 not ready, would not let me use pool tried again at 3:00 not ready said check in is 4 did let me use pool area room was not ready till 7:28 hotel had only one restaurant open could not get in no room service

We were very excited about staying at this property but certainly had a very bad experience from the first day we arrived there. Customer service was bad. We had to change rooms three times, the hotel was very dusty, dirty and very smelly. Anytime we tried to get a hold of operator or customer service the minimum wait was at least 10 minutes. Disappointed Very old property. Needs major upgrades. Everything is super expensive. Very few dining options. Only plus is that it's on the beach.

The rooms were not worth the price that I paid for. It felt like a 3 star hotel not a 4 or 5, for the toiletries were generic, no bath robes and slippers for guests to use, no laundry plastic bags in the closet, no pens or stationary for client to write on, no hotel books or magazine to read, no hotel info booklet/ binder in the room for in-room services like breakfast in bed, toilet floor was still dirty (found some hair from previous guests), patio was still messy (found some pizza boxes from the last guests too).
