I brought my dog in for emergency. she was attacked by a possum. this office kept pushing my dog further back on the wait list. NO I WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS ANIMAL CENTER TO ANYONE. I GOT THERE AN THERE WAS 3 EMERGENCY VISITS AN 1 APPT. I checked on the time an then my dog was pushed back to 4 more emergencys an 3 appts before we would be seen. if these animal care givers were concerned about my dog they would have help to get her in. I WALKED OUT!! NEVER WILL I RECOMMEND THIS CLINIC

Business response:

I'm terribly sorry for the wait. We all hope your baby is doing well. We have to triage most critical first. I am sorry it was offensive. We never meant it that way.

While there are certain individuals there that are outstanding, for the most part they are only concerned about $s. They don’t know how to treat long time customers well. Don’t take your pets there.

Business response:

We have to do a preboarding visit to be sure a boarder is fully protected by vaccines and also is able to meet our behavior standards. This actually loses us money but we do it to keep everyone safer. This is simply to protect all boarders and to keep all of them safe. I apologize as we know it is an inconvenience. We always try very hard to keep all the patients and boarders safe and this is the only way being fear free that we can do this.

Don’t schedule appointments if you are not going to fulfill them. Don’t be rude when customers are frustrated because they show up for an appointment and you tell them there are two people ahead of you and then over an hour and a half later tell them there are two people ahead of you. Have a manager on staff who can answer questions and manage appointments appropriately for the hours you are open. If you can’t function as a 24 hour service then don’t set your business as such.

Business response:

Emergencies are unpredictable and we are doing our best to staff to accommodate other ER's not being open for services. We are so terribly sorry for the wait. We utilize our staffing for direct support of the medical area and any managers on during off hours are usually also assisting with medical emergencies. I apologize that no one was available to take you call. We truly are trying to figure away to accommodate all the pets needs.

Took us 25 minutes to retrieve our dogs after paying and they brought them out SOAKING WET and smelling like urine. They were boarded for 3 days. Never again.

Business response:

The pups were given a bath the day before pick up but they are not wanting to potty outside on their walks. Some dogs do not like to go potty while on a leash so we provide them with potty pads- we do still walk but they just weren't interested in pottying in our yard. Thank you for the information. We should have called you to let you know that they were preferring to potty in the kennel and lay in it. We were bathing them regularly. I am terribly sorry.

my dog got sprayed in the face by a skunk and so at 11pm with no flashlight or anything they come outside look at him for 20 seconds and charged 140$ I have spent 10,000$ at this place on dogs but will never be back or send them any more business like I been doing

Business response:

We are sad to lose our furbaby patient but we do not expect our employees to accommodate repeated 'extreme profanity, inappropriate gestures and yelling. We do hope you locate a clinic for our sweet patient. He will be missed by all our staff who have cared for him for years.

Worse vet ever! Took my 1 1/2 year old morkie here for being lethargic and all they could do is suggests procedures that cost lots of money. After she couldn’t tell me what was wrong all she said was that he needed to be hospitalized and X-rays and that would cost thousands of dollars and suggested either leaving him or killing him. I said no. So she she gave him antibiotics and pain relievers for what she didn’t know and within 10 minutes of leaving the facility my dog died in excruciating pain on the way home! He was show... read more

Business response:

I am so sorry for your loss. It's so hard losing our furbabies, I so wish we coudl find the answers we need witout costly test but we jsut arent at that place in medicine. WIhtout the tests offering antibiotics and pain medication is a hopeful effort. We were just trying to do something that could possibly work. Antibiotics and pain meds don't' cause pain - it's just sometimes part of the unfortunate end to unknown health issues. I know you wanted to save your sweet pup and I am so sorry we needed more tests and diagno... read more

I have never experienced a Vet with so little regard of my pet’s care. It doesn’t matter that we waited almost an hour for an actual Vet to see my pet but the Vet explained she had other cases to deal with other than introducing herself to me before taking my animal back for tests (she was supposed to be the director). She was there for almost 4 hours for a simple blood/urine test. The tech was very careless with handling my animal, didn’t care to know her name, carried her in her carrier like she was a rag doll. By the time... read more

Business response:

I am so sorry for your wait. I think the doctor was just trying to explain what was taking longer than planned. We are certified in fear free handling and that takes longer than things like scruffing. Your baby is a sweetheart with you I am sure but was not very happy to be with us on this day. Some of the wait was trying to let her regain a level of comfort so that we could handle her. AS you know our patients don't urinate on request so that test requires a little more work with our four legged patients. The gas is s... read more

I loved the way they hurried my baby Lola in and seemed to genuinely care about her but unless you have PERFECT CREDIT and/or a couple thousand dollars UPFRONT I do NOT recommend this place . Unfortunately we are NOT prepared for a terrible accident or infection to attack our fur babies . Lola needed a blood transfusion and a severe care and they didn’t want to work with us AT ALL on payments or for them to cut her plan abit to help her survive the least ... I was very disappointed . They did clean her up and gave her fluids... read more

Usually I speak very highly of them. Dr. K, Dr. Robinson and Dr. Zimmerman are the best people you'll ever meet, BUT Dr. Welch is a horrible human being. She wouldn't even see my cat, because she didn't like my COVID mask. My cat had a broken leg and was in excruciating pain and she refused to help because of my mask. My mask covers my nose and mouth, it is acceptable everywhere including human hospitals and I have also worn it up there and no one had an issue. Dr. Welch is the only one with a problem with it. I had to take ... read more
