First off all there no zero star option to pick. Was with IBA for 3 years and not once did they pay anything and the bills I paid never went to the deductible. A046 (not covered) is the company theme. These are the scam insurance company that are government should be going after.

Absolute worst company to deal with as a provider. They refuse to assist with claims and hang up on you as soon as they see it’s a provider. I have a patient who hasn’t had a single claim paid in a the whole year they had this coverage and they refuse to talk to us about it so we can find out why.

Don`t buy their insurance plan! It`s not a health insurance at all. It`s a financing product that MAY reimburse your hospital and clinic charges. It has no preventive medical allowance, it barely has any pharmacy or lab willing to accept this plan, and it doesn`t provide any medicare tax deduction document i.e. 1095-c. You WILLNOT able to clam your tax deductible back at the end. To put it straight, you would benefit more without any health insurances than buying this product.

IBA insurance is worthless. I have had insurance all my life. Thought I was getting catastrophic police. Just needed insurance for 1 year until Medicare. 1 month before medicare I had 3 seizures. It was an AVM and an anurizium. 1st they tried to say it was pretty existing. Never had this before. It has been 13 months and they still haven't paid Jack nothing on anything. This company is nothing but a scam. It needs to be shut down.

This is a horrible insurance company!! They should be closed down!! I work for a provider and have 2 different patients that I am trying to get payment on that is owed to the dr. One is a March 2020 claim and the other is August 2020 claim. It is impossible to talk to a human being! When calling the provider line you are told to go their website and then your disconnected you have no other options! I work in a provider's office and simply needed to verify benefits of one patient. I have a login to their website but it said the member's plan had expired. The patient told me it had been renewed. So I called the number for providers and a recording said to go to their website and then it automatically hung up with no other options. Then I called and hit the only other option as a Member and it said to hold for a representative and I sat in complete silence for about ten minutes when I looked at the phone and it had discon... read more

I am Medical biller in the doctors office. We have only one patient with this insurance (Thank God is only one!). Since April, 2020 I sent two claims electronically and by mail, four times, and for some mysterious reasons the claims do not reach the IBA. Yesterday I called them again, and was told that I can fax claims or send it by email. I did both ways. This by far the worst health insurance experience I have ever had. I had a diagnostic procedure done in Nov 2019 and it wasn't until April 2020 that I heard from them that the claim needed to be reviewed and I needed to provide information. I sent the information immediately, they claimed they did not get it when I called in May. I sent info via email. When I called in June, the claim had not been reviewed and I was told it would take 30 days. When I called in July, the claim had still not been reviewed as was "escalated" in... read more

My name is ***** *****. I had a gun safe fall on my hand 5/15/2019. IBA was my insurance. I went to the ER (thought was standard procedure considering I broke my wrist & at least 5 bones in my hand). Long story short my insurance agent said I should have gone to urgent care (whatever). Other than letting the Hospital know whay was allowable & what was not (re-adjusting the amount billed/allowed) the insurance denied any payment on my billing. Basically everything was out of pocket.
