We had a 7:15 reservation for 4 and arrived on time. We were told our table would be ready in a few minutes. We had to wait over 30 minutes while walk- in couples were seated at 4 top tables while we stood there waiting to be seated. When they seated a 8:00 reservation 25 minutes early I complained and did not leave the hostess stand until they really looked at why we had been there so long and they were seating other people without reservations. It was expensive. Service was great. Food was good, the taste was good could be outstanding in favor. Appetizers very small and very expensive.
Great service and people but i would expect my steak to be juicy and actually medium rare for $300 and my lobster not too be rubbery and tough.
My husband and I came to J-Prime for our anniversary, expecting another great experience like last year. Instead, we spent three hours stuck in restaurant purgatory. Our 7:45 PM reservation started fine — seated early — but that’s where it stopped. Our waitress wasn’t rude, just completely disengaged. We waited an hour for our appetizer with no acknowledgment or apology. We’ve been here many times and it’s always been the best service we’ve ever had. This time we got what we assume was a newer waiter so the service wasn’t as great but they had others helping who were trying to pick up the slack. He was nice but we were celebrating an occasion and rarely go out so a bit disappointed in that but we honestly can’t complain because the food was amazing and the other waiters really did step up.
Food is always amazing. The service wasn’t the best, but I can live with it.
Service was extremely slow and hectic, the place had loud club music playing, but the food was good but be sure to devote about 3-4 hours of your time to being there.
It was good, but for the price it should be exceptional.
