Japanese Auto Masters was founded in 1982 by Tom and Cindi Potter in a small shop close to the Virginia Beach oceanfront. Tom originated Japanese Auto Masters to address the needs of consumers driving Japanese-made vehicles at a time when there were no independent repair service centers that specialized exclusively in all Japanese makes and models. We also service all Domestic vehicles as well.

Great service - got my approval for all the work BEFORE it was done. Good value for the job - and reasonable recommendations for future service with no pressure. I'm glad to have re-discovered Japanese Auto Masters after a lot of years away - Thanks!

Freindly, knowledgeble people, that perform a first rate service. They were able to install components for much less than the dealer. Took care of all issues.

Sometimes we can come in lower than the dealership, sometimes on par, and on rare occasions we have been slightly higher, but in all cases we hope the personal service and attention to detail is a difference worth the effort. Thanks for the comments Mike.

Customer Service was great! They did a great job explaining what was happening and what my options were at every stage. I would recommend this shop.

Jen, Sometimes cars are like infants; they make sounds or do unusual things and we know they are trying to tell us something, but it's difficult to communicate their language (lol). Happy to know we were able to be of service.

Quick turn around and reasonable pricing. Gave me a ride to work since they had to keep my car.
