Japanese Auto Masters was founded in 1982 by Tom and Cindi Potter in a small shop close to the Virginia Beach oceanfront. Tom originated Japanese Auto Masters to address the needs of consumers driving Japanese-made vehicles at a time when there were no independent repair service centers that specialized exclusively in all Japanese makes and models. We also service all Domestic vehicles as well.

Japanese Auto Masters were very accommodating and pleasing to deal with. Their facility is clean and organized and I was greeted promptly. The estimate I was given turned out to be a little bit higher than the final bill which was also nice as it was a major repair which I knew was going to be expensive. My vehicle is driving so much better now. Thank you for your prompt and precise service. I can definitely recommend JAM to friends and colleagues.

Fantastic service with integrity! These folks go above and beyond for their customers. We all been there where we are searching for mechanic shop to build a relationship. The staff did a great job on routine maintenance and finding the source of an engine noise, correcting it, and working with me to stay within my budget for the visit while keeping my SUV in good running condition. Thanks JAM!

Thank you so much for trouble shooting the funny noise somewhere in our car. . .finding it. . .and charging a reasonable fee. That's why we keep coming back!!
