About this business

Japanese Auto Masters was founded in 1982 by Tom and Cindi Potter in a small shop close to the Virginia Beach oceanfront. Tom originated Japanese Auto Masters to address the needs of consumers driving Japanese-made vehicles at a time when there were no independent repair service centers that specialized exclusively in all Japanese makes and models. We also service all Domestic vehicles as well.

I've been bringing my cars to Japanese Auto Masters for 22 years. I received the same professional quality service this time as I did in 1992. I highly recommend Japanese Auto Masters to anyone.

Business response:

John, I didn't think you were old enough to drive 22 years ago (lol). We appreciate the business and the words of encouragement. We owe a great deal to the whole team here at Japanese Auto Masters. Thanks for the comments. Tommy

I've been coming to you guys since I moved here 3 years ago. Excellent service, people, and establishment. And the surprise treat when you get your car back is awesome! Who does that?! These guys do, that's who!!

We consistently take our cars to Japanese Automaster because we know we can trust that they will help us keep them in good working order. They are systematic, good at record-keeping, honest and clear in their communication and easy to work with. We have been going here for six years and will continue to do so. We would heartily recommend them to any of our friends or family.

Business response:

Kimberly, It is always a pleasure to hear positive feedback from our customers. Please know we never take it for granted. We are here to serve the motoring public to the best of our ability and will always put the customer first. Thank you for the words of encouragement.

Thank you for your service, my car was diagnosed and fixed for the squealing and warning light, in a way I understood. Best of all, I needed some more work, you didn't pressure me like they do at the dealership. Believe me, I will be back. Thank you.

Business response:

To pressure a customer into service or repairs speaks of desperation. We are blessed because we have plenty of work, but more-so because we know we will earn the respect of the customer by letting them decide how best to invest their money, not us.
