Japanese Auto Masters was founded in 1982 by Tom and Cindi Potter in a small shop close to the Virginia Beach oceanfront. Tom originated Japanese Auto Masters to address the needs of consumers driving Japanese-made vehicles at a time when there were no independent repair service centers that specialized exclusively in all Japanese makes and models. We also service all Domestic vehicles as well.

excellent service we talked with david and he is great, very friendly, had lots of knowledge about what was going on with my car, kept us informed on all the progress costs etc thank you

These guys are awesome they didn't offer me parts or say they need to do something for it to pass. They let me know what was wrong I fixed it and they passed it. They have an excellent waiting room and garage. Very professional and kind people.

I was very pleased with JAM for the installation of my CRV's brakes and oil change (though Joe had not noted the brake job on your schedule as had been agree to in making the appointment). Also, I appreciated your investigating the trouble with my AC which developed after I had left. Tom and I had talked after that and had agreed to discuss it further the next morning. However, when I called and Tom answered the next day, he said, "Hold on, Mrs. Dowd," and without telling me, transferred my call to Joe. I asked during the ph... read more

Great first time experience! I believe they gave me an honest first look assessment of my deployed son's 4Runner. The repairs were made in a timely manner. I felt comfortable throughout the whole experience. I trust these people with the service of my sons car and will ensure he continues to rely on their expertise when he returns!
