We were told throughout the entire process we were on track. We follow a very routine check in schedule and we were told we were on track the entire time. The appraisal came in low so we had to change some items. The docs had plenty of time to go out and they didn’t. They pushed closing time because seller documents weren’t ready from the lender. So they couldn’t fund until 4 days later.

Joella was very communicative until the end and then we couldn’t get funded and everyone was giving us a different story. I had to go online and find her supervisor who was great and got the file funded for us. I have been a realtor for 23 years and have had over 1500 closings. This was one of the worst.

Tasks were completed last minute. If issues came up where things couldn’t be complete (example: COVID), communication on the delay would have been appreciated.

Everything was very delayed. We had to submit the same documents multiple times. The appraisal was not paid for until the day of closing so that had to be paid for out of pocket. I received the final numbers approximately 2 hours before closing. For this reason I had to wire more money to title company on my own without knowing the numbers to make sure the amount was covered before closing. Communication was atrocious. The app was a nice feature though.

Joella totally dropped the ball. Appraisal was not ordered, docs were not gathered from the borrower until last minute. When stuck in underwriting she avoided communication with everyone involved. Closing was late. Clear to close was gotten on a Thursday night and docs were promised first thing Friday morning but did not come until afternoon.
