5 stars doesn't do justice for this company. The Kilowatt team was amazing from the first call all the way through to completion of my central Heat/AC Installation. Hector, Francis, Armando and Bob came to install my unit. They were friendly, knowledgeable, professional and most of all CLEAN. My AC was up and running in less than 72 hours and I couldn't be happier with the work they did. I can't say enough good things about Dean and his team! When my heater first went on the fritz, Dean came late at night to check it out and managed to get it working, at least temporarily. When it became clear that my 15-year-old unit needed to retire, Dean gave me all the options, walked me through the details and we settled on a plan. The response time was awful. I had left a message on a Saturday with the answering service I didn't hear back until Monday afternoon. No big deal, but I almost went with another company because of it. I will say that I had a great experience with Sean that came out for the first time and did an extremely thorough check and maintenance on our system. I'll definitely be using them again and requesting Sean.

Kilowatt is AMAZING! I would recommend them to anyone looking for a solid HVAC company with good customer service. Here's what happened: Kilowatt inspects the unit in the townhouse we're renting twice a year. Wednesday, the unit stopped blowing cold air and the temperature went up to 88 degrees inside. The poor little dog was panting, she was so hot. We tried resetting the AC unit by turning off the power for 20 minutes. Kilowatt installed a completely new HVAC system in my condo in 2007. Dean took the time to listen to my ideas and helped me isolate the changes that would be most efficient in the new system - things like replacing the old ductwork, moving the registers and purchasing the highest available SEER-rated and quietest system I could buy. Living in the Valley, Summer AC failures is a regular item on the agenda, and I can't thank Kilowatt and their technician Byron enough for coming out promptly and fixing the issue. And we have pets in the house too, so resolving these issues urgently is of upmost importance to us. We lost our A/C during the last heat wave. Long story short, Kilowatt was the only company who even answered their phone, let alone holding out the chance of getting someone over here. Thank you, Deb. Met with the owner Dean to discuss a replacement. He walked our house, made some suggestions, and offered the best solution at a fair price. We accepted his proposal. It's so refreshing to deal with an honest AC company! I called for my senior citizen mother because her AC went out during this brutal heat wave. I had talked to no less than 6 different companies by phone each being evasive about how much my mother might spend. When I spoke with Jessica at Kilowatt she suggested that before paying for a technician to come out that my mother change the filter. She did just that and we were able to save a service call.
