Dean contacted me personally and sorted things out. He is a stand up guy for sure!
I called Kilowatt Heating and Air to install 2 nest thermostats in my house. They sent Frances and Eddie who were very professional. They checked over my whole system, gave me great recommendations and were very friendly and easy to work with. The left me house nice a clean after their work. I recommend Kilowatt for all your heating and AC needs.

Because I did not take the time in making this major (HVAC) buying decision which I had promised myself I would(!), I was too focused on shopping for a lower price (cheaper is oftentimes not less expensive!) and I ended up being too vulnerable to the sales pitch delivered by the salesman I signed up with. 5 stars doesn't do justice for this company. The Kilowatt team was amazing from the first call all the way through to completion of my central Heat/AC Installation. Hector, Francis, Armando and Bob came to install my unit. They were friendly, knowledgeable, professional and most of all CLEAN. My AC was up and running in less than 72 hours and I couldn't be happier with the work they did. I can't say enough good things about Dean and his team! When my heater first went on the fritz, Dean came late at night to check it out and managed to get it working, at least temporarily. When it became clear that my 15-year-old unit needed to retire, Dean gave me all the options, walked me through the details and we settled on a plan. The response time was awful. I had left a message on a Saturday with the answering service I didn't hear back until Monday afternoon. No big deal, but I almost went with another company because of it. I will say that I had a great experience with Sean that came out for the first time and did an extremely thorough check and maintenance on our system. I'll definitely be using them again and requesting Sean.

I had my HVAC system installed in 2020 or 2021 and had great customer service up until now. Sometime recently, they've decided to use AI to screen their calls and you are unable to talk with someone in the office. I am in their membership program which requires monthly payments and grants me routine maintenance on my system. However, Kilowatt skipped my last service appointment. Be aware that when you actually need something done, they ghost you and is absolutely unreachable even you when you pay and maintenance plan. Called Sunday 8/8/26 when AC completely went out in nearly 100° weather it was given an appointment for 8/28/26. They said they would be in touch the next business day for sooner options, received no follow up. Called Tuesday 8/12/26, during business hours and you only get the digital operator who keeps saying "I understand how frustrating this is". Asked to cancel maintenance plan but... read more
