Called to have my tanks removed in August when we switched companies bc we could not deal with waiting almost two weeks for a delivery anymore. I understand we live a distance away but two weeks was unacceptable anymore. When we called in August we agreed to pay the fees to have the almost full tanks emptied and removed and they informed us it would take a month to come to remove them. We still agreed to be done. Apparently they forgot to add the energy surcharge to my pre pay bill. They sent me an e mail that I owed them money. When I called the office to dispute the charge they forwarded me to a managers voice mail. Way to go Kimlin, you just lost a good customer and your good reputation over $13.00. They could do what they promise
staff (Tara) in Red Hook was GREAT.... but that’s it. Had appointment this morning for a Propane Tank placement between 9-10am. Come 12 noon, still no one here. Tried calling local office, no answer, called main number and after listening to a large amount of good music, Lori calls dispatch and tells me they are SO sorry, they got called to an emergency this morning. The worst company and so glad I changed to another company my tanks from kimblin 1947 and then the charge u to take there own tanks away they suck
ABSOLUTELY NOT. FRIEND IN ELLENVILLE AREA PROMISED PROPANE ON FRDIAY AFTER PAYING FOR IT ON WEDNESDAY. ASK IF THEY WOULD EXPEDITE IF PAID ADDITIONAL CHARGE. WAS TOLD NO NEED. FRIDAY NO DELIVERY. WAS THEN TOLD NEXT DELIVERY WOULD BE TUESDAY. WHICH AFTER CLOSING WAS CALLED WAS TOLD DELIVERY WOULDNT BE TO WEDNESDAY. WHO LEAVES THERE PAYING CUSTOMERS WITH NO HEAT IN ZERO DEGREE WEATHER AND ALSO REFUSES TO RETURN THEIR MONEY WHEN THEY WANT TO GO TO ANOTHER COMPANY
Despite all the negative reviews I've read, and the horror stories I'd heard about KP, I decided to use them on the recommendation of my contractor. Well that was a huge mistake! They are crooks and their office staff is completely incompetent and rude. Safe yourself the trouble and ask around before using this company.

Hi Maria, even though you are on WC and it's the day of a snow storm, I can have a delivery truck stop at your house on his way back if you need a delivery. Please call the office and set that up and I'll make sure it happens.
Just this past weekend they let my 86 year old grandmother run out of fuel after she called 2 weeks ago for a fuel delivery and then never returned any phone calls.

Hi Paul, your grandmother is on WC for Kero, she called on a Sunday for a delivery. We didn't have a Kero truck on the road to make that delivery but promised to on Monday. She then canceled that delivery on Monday. She never called 2 weeks prior. We're sorry it happened but that's why we advise customers to be on automatic delivery.
