This hotel needs maintenance, it looks old
There was no Shuttle service the day I arrive to Austin and i call the Hotel, the staff just told me "sorry about that" and did not gave me a solution. I used Uber. One of the reasons why i choose that Hotel was the Shuttle service. Then when we arrive the 2 elevators where broken down and one again just say "sorry about that", we have to take a lot of baggage to the 3rd floor that and down the next day.
I have stayed in several La Quinta Inn, this one is one of the worst, The elevator is in poor condition and the Room doors have gaps around the doors from a 1/2 inch and bigger which in turn you hear everything happening in the hallway. most of the doors seem like they been kick at one point or another. Will not stay there again.
Worst stay ever. Staff was rude and unprofessional. Never again

Good hotel at AUS Good hotel at AUS but 2 issues. 1) Elevator was broken and no effort made to fix or accommodate guests. 2) shower head only had one setting which was "needles". So hard, couldn't use shower Shower head should allow multiple settings.

Joel, we appreciate the time you took to review your stay. We feel terrible that our elevator was out of service during your stay but to say we made no effort to remedy the problem is inaccurate. I was personally on the phone with staff, and our service team, throughout the evening. Unfortunately, parts had to be ordered to get our elevator back in service and that is the reason it stayed down for the evening. Again, we apologize for the issue and thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention.
