Had Thanksgiving turkey dinner. Salad was fair, but small. Dinner was cold and had to send it back. Warm apple strudel dessert was cold, but the ice cream was melted. Overall very disappointing.

Food is not good. The food is not authentic Italian. Ordered beef ravioli, the beef was not fresh. The Ravioli seemed it was previously cook and reheated. Service need improvement. Had to ask the waiter three times for an additional cranberry juice. I would not recommend this restaurant for the quality of food served.

The low marks for our experience are because I have been dining at La Strada for decades and this was my least favorite experience. In the past, La Strada was a true dining experience, with an atmosphere of elegance. Over the years that has declined quite a bit. The staff were attentive, but lacked finesse. The Caesar Salad use to be made at the table with a sense of flair, but that no longer is the case, and the salad was watery or came from a bag, not good. This was very disappointing. To preface, the restaurant was NOT busy so really no excuse for poor service and even worse food. All of the dishes ordered by our group were only slighty warm and lacked real flavor. The only good part of the meal was the wine. They were, of course, out of our first selection though thus garnering even fewer points in the favorability column. The staff was very friendly and the food was excellent, however we were seated at the very back of the restaurant which was very off putting. We were not dressed shabbily and we had made reservations well in advance. Only one other occupied table was near us otherwise we were looking at a darkened empty dining room. There were other tables available so it seemed rather odd to seat us so far back in the restaurant.

Our table was at the end of the dining room and other patrons were brought to their table by being squished between our table and a sideboard although there was another route. It was also disappointing to witness the attire of other diners. Jeans, T-shirts, ball caps. The internet listed you as fine dining, which implies a certain amount of decorum and dress code. Not good. I had "veal saltimbocca". If it was veal, it was way overdone and came with a thick brown gravy. It could have been a thin slice of sirloin for all I know. Not good. ..My wife had chicken parm. A round piece of chicken, we thought was a chicken patty, thin layer of "sauce" (no flavor tomato sauce from a can) and a thick glob of cheese. Dry as a bone. La Strada is usually very good but we must have gone on an off day. Service was okay but the food came out lukewarm at best. We had a show to go to so not enough time to send back. Hopefully next visit will be up to their usual standards
