If your pet is sick and no other DVM can figure out why, take it to Laurelwood. If anyone can fix it, they can. They solve the mysterious and critical cases for a cat rescue I work with and can pull a cat from sure death. It's not cheap, mind you, but like I said- if anyone can save a failing pet, it's these magic workers.
The best doctors, nicest people and it is an immaculate, modern, and spacious facility.
We cannot give enough praise for Dr. Earp and everyone @ Laurelwood. For the love and care they've given our Bassets, we would rate them 100 stars!! We have been going there for 10+ years w/ both our "boys". I recommend Laurelwood to every pet parent I talk with. Again, the most wonder vet and clinic we have ever seen.
We have 5 fur kids and we have met our fair share of vets and vet practices from San Diego, CA to our new home state here in Oregon. I am so happy and grateful that we were referred to Laurelwood and Dr. Earp. Our initial meeting was like going to see an old friend. He took as much time as we needed to talk and ask questions and never once rushed me, he was completely focused on our babies and us and made us feel right at home. I knew it was going to go well since our lab Samantha actually fell asleep during the meeting -... read more
This office is fantastic from the receptionist to the dr's that give care. My problems with my doggie always has been resolve with expertise and kindness. I will highly recommend Laurelwood to all.
I just love my Vet, Dr Lynn Erdman, warm , compassionate, and smart!!. Everytime I visit there with Gramma Maggie I know all our needs will be met. Ig you want a great vet see Dr Erdman. Thank you, Chris and Gramma Maggie
Dr Erdman is fantastic. I came to her after realizing that my old vet was making a profit by over vaccinating my dog -- that was more than 8 years ago. Last Friday I took my dog in to get a root canal. (I know it sounds crazy, but in this case, it was the right thing to do.) The dentist she works with ran late and as a result my dog wasn't ready to go home when the office closed. Dr Erdman let me come when my dog was ready to go home, which was 9:30pm on a Friday night. She stayed late and discharged my dog herself. She ... read more
We have found Dr. Earp to be a competent and caring vet who listens to our concerns and investigates alternative treatment options with which he is unfamiliar. Our 4-year old terrier mix has seizures, and Dr. Earp has worked closely with us to try to manage her condition. We don't feel pressured for diagnostics of questionable usefulness but at the same time don't feel like we're being brushed off for our concerns regarding potential side effects of the standard medication regimen. Dr. Earp consults with his specialist co... read more
I really thought our vet was very knowledgeable and kind when we brought Duke in and found out he had bladder stones, so I wanted to go back when my other dog hurt her back, but was told the doctor doesn't refer to chiropractors. I think it's silly that Oregon even requires a veterinary referral for animals to receive chiropractic care, but to be told a doctor excludes safe, effective treatment is upsetting. Petunia needs an adjustment not pills.
