Wonderful feline care. I have to apologize - this review is long overdue. Dr. Erdman has provided my kitties with compassionate, understanding and loving healthcare for close to 20 years. I especially want to mention her care of my cat Tabitha. She was diagnosed, by Dr. Erdman, close to 12 years ago with mega-colon. Those with experience with this disease know that 12 years is an amazing lifetime post diagnosis. Throughout Dr. Erdman has always given Tabitha gentle care while having to perform physical examinations pre... read more

Very professional practice. Dr. Earp saved our cat's life. The cat had eaten some of the dog's beef-flavored steroidal medication. We discovered it, rushed him to the vet and Dr. Earp saw him right away. They kept him for two days for IVs to flush out his system and returned him to us none the worse for the wear. Dr. Earp called us every day to keep us posted. The bill was reasonable, I thought.

My 10 year old dog Lilly has been a patient of Dr. Franklin's for a couple of years now. She has an autoimmune disease that came on rapidly just as we were making the move from San Diego. Laurelwood Animal Hospital was the first place we went to for our dog. Dr. Franklin was so great to us, he was very caring and personable. Just recently, Lilly had something wrong with one of her eyes, so I took her immediately to Dr. Franklin. He saw it was an urgent matter and sent us to the see the ophthalmologist at the vet hospita... read more

Dr Franklin saw my dog emergently as a new patient. My lab is 10. I knew something was drastically wrong. Instead of putting in an Iv, running a million tests and studies, the dr merely did a chest X-ray and diagnosed him with metastatic (probable) cancer. He did not waste time or money. He was honest and direct yet kind. He and his staff was genuinely compassionate through every step of the way and my tears. They got my 80# dog into a stretcher with ease. The Dr called me personally back today when I had qs. 10 stars if I ... read more

Love, Love, Love this place. Clean and modern. Everyone here is friendly and warm. The staff is both professional and welcoming. Dr. Earp takes his time to get to know you and your animals. I am so happy to have been recommended to Laurelwood Animal Hospital. I couldn't be more pleased!!!

Dr. Franklin Saved Buddy's Life In the fall of 2012, my beloved dachshund Buddy was diagnosed with anemia. In people, this just means you need to have more iron in your diet. In dogs, it's much more difficult to treat. I was on a tight budget, and although Buddy was still young, he also had other problems and symptoms. I came to Dr. Franklin after a large chain had essentially told me that the only way to treat my dog was essentially to throw money at the problem until they could figure out what was going on. Then they offe... read more

Just moved into town and was worried about finding a vet I could trust. Not only were the staff overly accommodating helping to guide me via phone to the office (when I got lost), but Dr. Erdman's exam was the most thorough exam I think my dog has ever received from a vet! So glad I ended up here!

I completely trust Dr. Franklin, Dr Earp, and Dr. Erdman and the staff at Laurelwood Animal Hospital. They have kept my cat who is 24 in good shape. And my dog who is 10. They know that they are like my children to me. I can call anytime with questions and always get a response back right away.

Dr Earp and Dr Franklin saved the life of my 1 year old lab. my dog had unknowingly eaten the stuffing from a toy and part of a plastic shampoo bottle that he pulled out of the recycling bin. My dog was vomiting all night, I called Laurelwood first thing in the morning and made an appointment for 4pm, which was the only opening of the day. The receptionist put Dr. Earp on the phone and he suggested that I bring my dog over right away so he could keep an eye on him. Dr Earp gave my dog an xray in between patients and det... read more
