You cannot actually get a human on the phone to resolve any account issues. This is a mortgage! The system just keeps circling through automated choices with no way to actually speak to a human. It's absolutely unacceptable. Covid is no excuse. It's been a year. Every company has transitioned to working at home. This company was abysmal pre-Covid.
My mailbox was broken into, and I did not receive the transfer letter from LoanCare to the new loan servicing center. As usual I had my bank pay my mortgage to LoanCare. I received a phone call from the new loan service center informing me that my payment was late, plus interest and penalty fees. I had to pay them. I have called EVERY customer service phone number listed for LoanCare and only get a transfer to information on the 1099 statement. There is NEVER an option to talk to a representative. The worse customer service I've ever had to deal with!! Extremely long waits to reach a live representative and then given some false or misleading information. I would never chose to do business with them if I had the choice!! I would never recommend anyone to have any dealings with them.
Worst mortgage servicing company ever!! If you can get a human you will get different answers. Horrible customer service. Very slow in processing payments on purpose. Have been requesting a payoff for days and still no response. Run run run from this company!! They suck!!!
If there could be a half a star... I would mark it. I have been dealing with the same issue for over 2 months and still no resolution. I was charged at the ** property tax rate, when I should of been charged at the ** tax rate. This company has been notified and did not make any adjustments, untill I NOTIFIED THEM.. This company is totally fraud, I reached them multiple times and emailed the support multiple times, they are saying by mistake they paid twice or duplicate payments to ********** ******* I checked with the county trustee, got the letter they were paid only once, and Loancare is not either responding or returning the money back, I have mentioned to them that I will report this to the consumer cell, in spite of my message or communication, they have not returned the excess amount of ********* this is a big money for us, pleas... read more
The servicing of my ***** was transferred to LoanCare, LLC. during my refi. Escrow officer had tried for a month to get a payoff from prior servicer (also a gem). Ended up taking two weeks of sometimes twice daily pounding on these folks to get them to move on producing this payoff letter calling in along with the escrow officer. Many dropped calls - looking at my ****** log about 2 hours total time on hold each day. This company's automated phone system is horrible. A brain-dead fish could provide more help. There are number selections that take you through redundant loops asking for the same information. Sometimes, they ask for things like SSN to be entered, and do not clarify that you should press pound afterward. You will be forced to listen to minutes worth of crap that is not relevant you before having any press-options given. We have a brand new build and we were informed by the closing attorney the taxes that would currently be paid in 2019 was only for the parcel not the home itself. Loancare was the mortgage company which the builder sold our loan too after closing. Loancare paid our County taxes no problem and paid the city parcel taxes no problem in 2019 which is when we closed on the home.
