I sent in a payment with my extra principal payment and instead of it getting applied to my intended principal account it was applied to my next months payment! Now I can understand someone new to the company making this mistake but how do you come up with the next months interest as well...? And take that out of my extra principal payment? I have called 3 times to fix this payment issue and every time I've waited on hold for over 30 minutes. And every time I was promised this issue would be resolved in 3 business days. My **** mortgage and equity line were transferred to their servicing and I never had a problem before this. Since going to loan care about 2 months ago I have over 27 hours of on hold, disconnect, transferred, misinformation, etc.. They still do not have it set up to pay on line and no one can seem to tell me how to pay. Today, one of their employees told me that due to "their own inefficiencies" no one is set up yet to be able to make a payment on their home equity line. My nightmare with LoanCare AKA ******** Loan ********* *** began when I started receiving suspicious payoff emails that did not add up for the payoff amount it was showing in which I questioned. The interest was **** higher than the amount left on the life of my loan. Who wants to pay more to payoff early? I do not have any prepayment penalties therefore I will wait until I near the end of my loan which is my right to do so. BBB, you have got to investigate this company. I am reading all the reviews on LoanCare and if you don't assign an agent to this unethical company then you are in bed with them. Here's my interaction with this horrible company and this is just the short version of what I've experienced. There is so much more to tell. Worst financial institute out there in my opinion. Worst loan company. No customer service and they disable my ability to make a payment on their website. How do they expect me to make my mortgage payments when they have disable that options? Really? In what stupid loan company does this to their customers? So now I'm trying to call them to make my payment but all their automated info is irrelevant. Trying to make a payment or talk to a representative at Loan Care is a joke! They will call with automated messages to return their call, and when you try to get ahold of them......you get nowhere!!! Recorded messages and unable to speak to a representative. I tried to make a payment online and I am unable to do so. They have locked me out! I am getting nowhere trying to make a payment. They do this to make you behind on your payments. They also do not have accurate accounting on my mortgage!!! These people need to be turned... read more

Absolute worst company to deal with. Every time you call you get another answer to the same question. Worst communication for a company not to mention their customer service agents don't know how to handle any issues. They deserve zero stars! Not even sure how they are in business.

Loan care are crooks, always different answers and *** out from the last representative you spoke to. I tried to get escrow removed from my loan, they strung me out over a 60 day period guessing whether I could remove escrow or not. Anyone who you talk to on the phone is a phone talker and does not make decisions about loans their job is to talk on the phone. I tried to get a supervisor and hot put on hold for twenty minutes...... I guess by accident ? Eventually I received a denial letter after three phone that all indicate... read more

Worst company ever. Phone system will make you want to tear your hair out. Was on hold for the 3rd time this month going round and round on their phone system for 17 minutes. Finally hung up with no solution. I have sent 3 emails. The two times I did talk to customer service they had conflicting information. Currently my issue is not resolved and if someone replies to email your company i will scream. Someone needs to call and have valid information. WORST COMPANY EVER. I never write reviews either.
