myloancare (LoanCare) did not pay my homeowners insurance on time causing my policy to lapse since Aug 2020. I did not find out about the lapse in coverage until I called the insurance company to file a claim for water damage. Praise God it was only **** in damages and not worse. Every time I call loan care about reimbursement I am transferred to different departments and no one knows how to help. I wish I can change to a different loan servicer.
After reading these reviews I'm actually concerned that Loancare stole my escrow account money and has no intention of refunding it to me. There's thousands of dollars missing with no legitimate explanation. The fact these all these reviews saying similar things concerns me. I hope they do the right thing and refund myself and these others. This is definitely not the time after the year we've had to be screwing people out of their money. They should be ashamed.
Zero stars. I have had more problems and issues with this mortgage company than any other company we've ever used. They've messed up our billing 3 times in 3 years. Their customer support takes forever to get a hold of with phone waits in excess of 45min. They don't have a chat feature. Their website is a jumbled mess. Their payment history journal entries are a convoluted mess. If I could change to a different servicer I would. They are the worst.
Unwilling to give a payoff quote! Title company had tried for weeks to get a payoff quote with no success. The title company had to reach out to me so I could try, and it was a horrific experience. It takes over 6 minutes on the ***** number to even start making progress, and after that it's a gamble if you'll even get through after you've made your selections, and you can count on being placed on hold each and every time. These guys really are terrible... I have been in real estate for over 20 years, have had 20+ mortgages on my own properties in that time, and currently have 5. CUSTOMER IS NOT TOP PRIORITY! I had a small flood in my kitchen due to a water leak which causes over *** in damages. My insurance company finally released my checks with loan care on them, and I submitted them to loan cares insurance claim check center to be issued back to me for repairs. I followed the instructions of NUMEROUS different agents and submitted all receipts as I was forced to pay out of pocket for repairs to have them done quickly rather than wait through their process to get money. I like so many other hate loancare. I am a veteran, and a first time home buyer and was with a great company united home mortgage until they sold my mortgage to loancare. They are the worst and I wish I could refinance and get away from loancare. I called yesterday because there stupid website locked me out. So I attempted to call the number provided. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! Only one star because I cannot put 0 stars!!!! This loan company is the worst loan company on the planet. They are liars and thieves. They have not and will not send the payout for the house that I sold 12 days ago.
