Loan care has been charging me for wind and hail insurance over the last three years... when I had wind and hail insurance through the insurance certificate I provided them. Additionally, they have charged me for home owners insurance while i was actually covered. This is the worst company. They are unresponsive and looking to step your money at every corner.

Like many of the other reviewers here, I would have given 0 or negative stars to LoanCare for the treatment we are currently receiving, it if were possible to do so. In our case, we paid our mortgage off in September of this year. LoanCare told us to wait for thirty days for the deed of trust release to be processed. After that time, we checked with our couthouse, and they told us we would need a book and page number where the release had been recorded. They allowed me to go into a six month payment deferral program and then reported me as delinquent to the credit rating agencies. These people are shady and should be avoided at all costs.

They bought our loan from us earlier this year. I have two big problems with them besides the fact they are very hard to talk to on the phone. The first is that they won't let me submit an appraisal on my home until we own *** of it, but I wouldn't need to do it at that point. I need to do it now, but they won't let me because "it's a rule". The second problem is they only accept one automated payment a month for free without charging fees. Why do other mortgage companies sell our accounts to these crooks? I am still waiting for my escrow refund which was supposed to help pay for my daughter's Christmas gift. Normally LoanCare would have pain the property tax bill on or before November 26th. But since I was rated 100% disabled veteran as of last August, I have no property tax that is due. LoanCare still has several thousand of my escrow over payment yet tells me that I did owe the same property tax amount that I paid last year. I contacted my county tax office ... read more

Absolutely the worst loan company around. Upped my mortgage payment due to taxes, understandable, but did not notify me of the hire payment. Their technology is far behind competitors. Their customer service is horrible. Refinanced and my refi company had trouble getting the pay off amount from them and I had to get involved. Then they did not provide a wire pay off option requiring a check to be sent and then charging my mortgage the same day they received the full loan pay off. I have an insurance claim check that was sent to me. I endorsed it and sent it into Loancare for their endorsement. Their process and customer service model is broke and deliberately frustrating. It takes no less then 8 minutes to get a real person on the phone. You have to call an 800 number only. They will only accept documents via website upload and it takes 2 business days to process. I have spent no less then 6 hours on the phone with a multitude of reps - all of which assured me that they were working to resolve my iss... read more

I would give them a negative number if I could. We have been dealing with them for about six months now. During covid we done a 6-month forbearance on our Mortgage and have been following all the procedures and rules and paperwork just as we should but they have steadily called us on a daily basis multiple times a day. Even on days after we had already called and checked in and told him what we were doing they would still call oblivious of the previous phone calls. The day my loan was sold to this entity was the worst thing ever. As a disabled vet as they don't process my paperwork for my tax exemption and they lie about it being taken care of since August; it is now December. They keep taking my money and keep telling me that the next month this will be settled. I am all for a class action lawsuit let's band together and bring down this this this fraudulent business!
