Lon Smith Roofing out of Ft. Worth, TX - Replacedour roof 16 years ago, provided maintenance 5 years ago and they came out recently to perform repairs, paint roof jacks & vents. Never an unwantedsurprise, never a hassle and the job(s) are done expertly. And it is worth noting we dealt with ThomasKirkpatrick all three times. Loyalty & stability aren't bad traits either.

The first roofers that came out to do the work were very nice but, there were problems with what they did. They cut the shingles up to the house rather than leave an overhang and the flashing was too high. I asked an inspector from Lon Smith Roofing to come look at the job to see what he thought and they were prompt and courteous, sending an inspector out the next day. The inspector found two other problems that I didn't even see so he had a different crew come out, rip out the old job and redo the entire thing. I have used ... read more

Lon Smith Roofing arrived promptly to do an inspection of the roof for resent hail damage. They explained what they found promptly to us and explained that the roof for the house and the shed needed replaced. They gave us a very detailed estimate with what would be done. Once the job was done they provided us with the post inspection results. The roof was done perfectly with all the shingles lining up as expected. They were prompt, professional, courteous. Fortunately it hasn't rained hard since then but I'm confident they repaired the leaks I found after the last hard rain.

I contacted Lon Smith Roofing just after Thanksgiving, 2015, about getting an estimate for repair of roof leaks at my house. Don December 3rd, Mr. Robbie Harless came out and did a roof inspection. He was prompt and very professional. He clearly explained what he believed was the cause of my leaks and what he proposed to have done in order to repair those leaking areas. I contacted Lon Smith Roofing for an estimate to repair an area of the roof that was leaking. Robbie checked the roof and found the problems. He showed me pictures of the damage and provided a detailed written estimatefor the repair. He also showed me a photo of a problem he noticed with the hardie board in that area and suggested that I contact someone toget that repairedto prevent water leaks from that as well. Overall, we are very happy with our experience with Lon Smith Roofing. The staff has been very courteous--in fact, we received two follow-up communications after the repair was made but before the bill even arrived! So far, the repair has worked (it was tested during a storm last week). The roofers arrived when expected and completed the repairs in timely fashion--and cleaned up everything before leaving. I'm 100% pleased with Lon Smith Roofing! Every encounter with them - from scheduling the evaluation to completing the work was top notch. I feel like the price for the work they did was very fair too. I want to give a special shout out to Daniel V. He was very attentive and concerned about the job from start to finish.
