Awful experience at look cinemas in Dobbs Ferry. 42 mins to receive food, cold - and dirty tables Contacted customer service - no response. Avoid this place - Alamo drafthouse is 100 x better

I'm so very disappointed in this dine in theater. This was our first movie date night in 3 years and I was looking forward to it. However, the experience was horrible. We purchased our tickets ahead so we can just go straight to the bar but when we got to the bar, we were turned away because they were 25 minutes backed up. There was a wedding party in our theater that ran late and pushed our movie back a half hour. Not good for a 9:15pm show with a 2-hour movie. The food was awful and way too expensive. We all ordered Slushees at $9 a pitand got small cups of about 12 ounces. WTF? My two hot dogs and fries were $16 and they were overcooked and the bun was stale. I do NOT KNOW WHY WE KEEP GOING BACK! Used to love this place when it was ipic. Was excited for their return as Look Cinema. Truthfully we just keep returning because its convenient and the seats are comfortable. Otherwise, it is an absolute trainwreck. We started going here a few years ago and it seems like this place is getting worse. We ordered the food before the movie started and didn't receive it until 20 minutes before the end of the movie. There was an automatic 20% tip we had to add to our food order. Bathrooms really dirty, missing toilet paper. Employees don't seem like they want to be there.
We didn't receive the food we ordered (for 4 ppl, it was around $100 btw)! We told one of the servers who was returning. He took out trays and disappeared. Never came back with the right order. My husband had to eventually go out and got hold of someone and we finally received the food 20 min before the movie ended (and even then, I got fries instead of veggies that I selected with my burger). I'm giving LOOK at 4* review, but, really, it should be like 3.5, maybe even a 3. I want to love this place -- the seats are crazy comfortable, the people are nice, they show good movies, sound system is on point and their beer selection is really good... It's a solid place. Went to see The Fall Guy last night. Granted I know it was a Monday but the place looked closed. When you walked in the box office wasn't open and you had to go to the bar to buy your tickets which was fine but it wasn't a very welcoming experience to see the chairs all up on the tables and the lobby dark and closed up when you walked in. As a frequent customer to this theater, it never fails to amaze me that the bathrooms are beyond disgusting every time I go. There's never any toilet paper. The stalls are broken. They're dirty and I always have to tell somebody three or four times can you please help and clean it up in there. This has got to change before they lose the rest of the business they have.
