I saw this place on the news and I live in La Habra, so I was glad to hear I'd get to try something new within my area. We just got some new fast food chains opened up around here within the last year, but nothing like Lotteria. My girlfriend has been waiting for the long lines to decrease since before the opening of Lotteria to try their Korean burgers. We finally made it this morning, arriving before they opened with 6 friends for a meetup group lunch. We were first in line for the dining room, there were about 6 cars waiting for the drive thru to open as well. I tried a burger from Lotteria, and it was pretty good. The bun was soft, the patty was thin but tasty, and the sauce had a unique sweet-and-savory flavor that made it stand out from other fast-food chains. It's lighter than a McDonald's or Burger King burger, but still satisfying. Lotteria also offers creative seasonal burgers, which makes it fun to try something new.

I'm not sure what I think .... yet I ordered the #1 combo. The burger and fries look like a burger and fries at any American fast food joint. They are anything but that. The fries come with a choice of 2 seasonings, I chose the onion seasoning. I was expecting something like onion salt. It's not salty at all. If anything it's slightly sweet. The burger is also slightly sweet. Honestly I'm not sure what to think, it's very different from your traditional American burger and fries. I'll try it again to be sure

2.5 star review but I'll round to 3 star and try it again in another couple of months. I've had Lotteria when I was in Korea about a decade ago and it was alright. The only thing that was slightly memorable for me was their Shrimp Burger. Trying Korea's Original K-Burger from Seoul - First infamous Korean Fast Food Chain (like our In-N-Out) here in USA! Just opened a month or so ago with 3-hour wait in line - now easier to het in with a shorter line! We tried the Deluxe Bugulgi Burger , Bugulgi Shrimp Burger, Rice Bim Bim Burger, Shake it Chicken, Shake it Fries and tasted the Binsu dessert. Everything was Delicious!! I will be back!
