I really wanted to love it...was excited because I remember eating at Lotteria as a child. Shrimp burger was tasty....i might come back for that. French fries were crispy and yummy. We also ordered the bibim rice burger. All the flavors were there but it's hard to eat...things fall apart: my son who ate this almost felt like he wanted it in a bowl so he can eat it with a fork. Bingsoo is a big miss for me. It looks like a bingsoo, but it's not. Melted icy cream with canned fruits, red beans, etc. it just missed th... read more

Business response:

Thank you for your feedback and for giving LOTTERIA Fullerton a try. We understand your mixed feelings about the experience, especially given your childhood memories of Lotteria. We're sorry the bibim rice burger was difficult to eat and that our bingsoo didn't meet your expectations - we know how disappointing it can be when a dish doesn't match those cherished memories. We're glad you enjoyed the shrimp burger and crispy fries though, and we'd love the chance to improve your overall experience if you decide to return.

Waited many months to come- the shrimp and bulgogi burgers are OK. Ton of fries. Cost is high...I would choose to walk to IN-N-OUT or Chik-fil-A. We came because we missed Lotteria in Korea which is much cheaper. Staff was super nice. The store was clean. Food came out quite quickly. However, won't be returning often. Will come when I miss Korean burger or bring friends who want to try out Korean burger- IN-N-OUT is a better deal-

Business response:

Thank you for your honesty about your experience at LOTTERIA Fullerton, Pureum. We understand that the cost felt high compared to other options, and we appreciate you sharing that the shrimp and bulgogi burgers were just okay for you. It's wonderful to hear that our staff was super nice, the store was clean, and your food came out quickly - we're glad those aspects of your visit met your expectations. We'll work hard to make sure your next visit offers better value when you're craving that Korean burger experience.

The shrimp burger was so good! It was juicy and had a great texture. I wasn't a fan of the bulgogi deluxe burger, and wish the patty was thicker. It tasted fine; just wasn't my vibe. Their fries were so delicious - crispy, fresh and the cheese seasoning was tasty! Service was nice and efficient. Hope more locations open in the U.S. soon. I would come back!

Business response:

Hi, Justine. We appreciate the kind words and are glad we could provide you with a positive experience!

Heard good things about this place and decided to try it out. Its a bit of a drive from me but thankfully there weren't too many ppl in line when I came so the wait itself wasn't too bad. The place itself is clean and the staff were very nice. The food was good but I wouldn't say its amazing. If they opened a place closer to irvine I would go more often. But its not worth the drive again for me.

Business response:

Hi, Virginia. Thanks for taking the time to share your positive experience. We truly appreciate it!

I've loved Lotteria since living in Korea, so I was excited to visit the one in Fullerton. The Bulgogi Burger and Shrimp Burger were just as delicious as I remembered! This time, I tried the Bibim Rice Burger -- surprisingly tasty and super filling. The K BBQ Fries are also a must-try. So glad to have this Korean favorite nearby!

Business response:

Hi, Christina. Thank you so much for leaving us a stellar review!

Lotteria: The US Hype Didn't Meet the Bite It's funny that I hadn't even heard of Lotteria while living in Korea, yet the hype for this new US location was absolutely crazy! We decided to share the Bulgogi Burger and a "special" burger that came on rice buns. The verdict? It was just okay--definitely nothing to write home about. Now, after trying the American version, I've heard from several people that the original Korean Lotteria is much, much better. I'm already looking forward to trying the authentic local flavors next... read more

Business response:

Thanks so much for stopping by and sharing your thoughts, Cindy! We really appreciate your honest feedback about the Bulgogi Burger and rice bun burger. It’s always helpful to hear what didn’t quite hit the mark. We totally get that it can be a letdown when something doesn’t live up to the buzz. And good call on the fry seasoning packets, we’ll make sure to explain them better next time. Your feedback really helps us improve, and we hope to give you a better experience on your next visit!

Lotterria is great for what it is. Ultimately it's not fine dining. It's fast food. Like McDonalds but Korean. If you're expecting fine dining, go somewhere else. We ordered a fried shrimp burger, beef bulgolgi burger, and bulgolgi fries. Everything tasted as fast food would. But the fun of it was that there were Korean kicks to everything. I don't think I'd come back often as I'm not really into fast food. However if I wanted fast food, it's nice to have a Korean-ified option. I wish there were more Lotterrias. The family... read more

THANK GOODNESS I didn't wait in the 2 hour line when this place first opened! Now that the hype has died, there isn't much of a wait so the time from ordering to getting the food was very quick. Tried the shrimp burger combo. Unfortunately, it didn't quite meet my expectations. There were some shrimp bits in the burger but it wasn't very crispy and didn't feel freshly fried. The burger was also a little soggy from how much sauce there was on the patties. Eating it made me really crave the Bopomofo walnut shrimp burger since... read more

Business response:

Thank you for your feedback, Jasmine. We really appreciate you taking the time to share your honest experience with us. We’re sorry to hear that the Shrimp Burger didn’t meet your expectations with the lack of crispiness and the sogginess from the sauce, and that the onion powder on the fries was too sweet for your taste. We’re glad the service was quick and that your friend enjoyed the Bulgogi Burger with rice patties. We’ll keep working to improve our food quality and hope to welcome you back soon.

Lotte has such a slick and efficient setup -- their drive-through is super smooth and makes grabbing food or drinks so easy! The service is always quick, friendly, and consistent. I got my order delivered once too, and it came fast and fresh. Everything about Lotte feels well-run and convenient -- perfect for when you're on the go but still want great quality. Definitely one of my new favorite stops!

Business response:

Hi, Francine. We appreciate the kind words and are glad we could provide you with a positive experience!
