We are moving down to the area next month - so since we were a little behind in our annual shots - we decided to find a vet closer to the new homestead. While we would have saved money going to our old vet we decided it was worth a try elsewhere. We are so glad that we did. All of the staff at Love were very tuned in to our dogs and our concerns. They listened and were actively engaged throughout the visit. They even have a new allergy program that we think we will give a try soon. Our pups are just itching themselves ... read more

Thank you, thank you Yelp for helping me find an amazing vet in Austin. I just moved to Austin and my 12 year old cat has been having some problems with her ears. Unfortunately I can't remember the vet's name but she was simply amazing. She listened to me, seemed geniunely concerned with my cat's problems and had such a gentle disposition when giving my cat's exam. My neurotic basket case of a cat seemed relaxed at Love Pet Hospital. I am very grateful to have found this pet hospital.

I can't say enough good things about Love!! Dr. Davenport and Dr. Wishbock are the best vets in town, trust me I went through 12 different place before I found Love... Hulk has special needs medically and they always fit him in last minute and my youngest is deaf and the staff is so good with her. I love the staff and doctors here, your missing out if you take your pet anywhere else.

I probably can't love these people any more than I do. This is the nicest, most compassionate, animal-loving group of doctors and employees I have found anywhere. As I type this, my dog is recovering from surgery there (I'm picking him up shortly). I am a helicopter dog parent, and insisted on sitting in the waiting room with him until they were ready for him (they were very accommodating and even came out to give him the first shot while he was with me, rather than taking him back for it). I took both my cat and my pet rat here and I always had a great experience. Unfortunately my rat can a tumor and I had to put her down. I took her to Love to do this. They were very sympathetic and even sent me a card afterward which the whole staff signed. In my experience not all vet's will see rats and even the ones that do are often not very experienced with them. Love Pet Hospital is different and treated me and my pet rat with respect. This is definitely my favorite vet.

I just got a new dachshund puppy last weekend...I have never owned a pet before so I had hella questions about EVERYTHING. I wrote down my long list before we went to Love and Dr. Huckabee answered every question thoroughly and lovingly. She was so tender with my puppy and made both of us feel very comfortable. I definitely recommend this place for your pets!

Unfortunately, I had to visit Love Pet Hospital for the first time this morning; but, I could not be more happy with my experience. I slept on the couch Monday night with the back door open because my dog kept waking me up to go out. I should have known something was wrong then. I did not realize my dog had bloody exploding diarrhea until she vomited up what smelt like poop with blood in it late last night. my 13 year old yorkie has been to love pet hospital 5 times in the last 3 months for a teeth cleaning, teeth extraction, treatment for a bacterial infection in his tummy, a bad ear infection, a liver ultrasound, and accupuncture. he's been seen by both dr. davenport and dr. wisbrock and both have been awesome! they called me after a couple of vader's procedures to keep me in the loop, which really calmed my nerves during the day while at work. my poor pooch has been through a lot lately, but the staff and dr's here are top ... read more

I love this place. It's unfortunate that Andrea had the experience she had. Not only do my animals go here as regular clients (8 cats + 3 dogs), but twice I've had to bring in two cats who were just run over (separate occasions). One was mine, and the other I didn't know - just trying to do the right thing. Dr. Wisbrock treated my own cat when he was hit, and was truly amazing with Wolfgang, and his freaked-out parents.
