I sat with the hair dye for 1hr. It wasn't until I asked the hair colorist how much longer do I need to sit to get their attention. Apparently the assistants forgot about me. Also nobody asked me if I wanted anything to drink while I sat there for 1 hour.

Very poor customer service in this location. I came in for a color service and the colorist and staff don't seem to be interested in being/working there. I came back to return a product I ordered online two days after my service since I decided to get my color done in person. None of the staff seem to know how to do a return except the manager who was there and present. I was told to come back 30 minutes later to be helped. Sadly I have to agree with all the other reviewers about my experience here. They are always over booked and understaffed. There is no receptionist to greet you so I (along with others) are left awkwardly standing at the empty front desk. Finally someone acknowledges me and asks me to go sit in one of the little grey chairs in the back as they are running "a few minutes behind". Twenty minutes pass and not a peep. My experience was well below expectations. The hair colorist was impersonal and made no effort to get to know my hair color preference or any specific considerations or requests. To make things worse, despite paying $75 for the same thing I could do on my own at home, he missed some roots right at the top of my forehead which I will now need to fix on my own. Easily the worst experience I've ever had. A few things: 1) I made the appointment for a full highlight. They only did a partial highlight (still took 3 hours) AND were planning to charge me for a full. My biggest issues were that they didn't realize the issue first and that they didn't seem apologetic for the error. while the outcome looked great, the price was definitely not worth it. You have to pay so much more to simply get your hair blow dried and they cant cut your hair either. I've been to places for less, gotten the same outcome, with the inclusion of a hair cut/trim and getting my hair dried. The workers are great and kind and this is not an insult to them. It's the businesses price and way of running things that is the problem. I suggest going somewhere else for a cheaper price.

I have been coming to this color bar when the salon was in the Mission. With Covid, they closed for services and opened this new location. What I miss is working with one colorist from color to my blowout . Here they have a colorist and a shampoo and blowouts. Today I went in for color and highlights. I asked about having highlights to not have my white hair growths. Instead of having a brownish gold highlights I have a reddish colored hair. I may go back to where I have my haircut for my color.

At first during consultation they asked about any reference pictures you have. I showed them all and asked them to do similar to caramel and honey and wow it turns out disaster. I still tipped them. When blow drying myself and brushing my hair, I found it shedded so much. Worst!! I need refund! Never going back

I had a TERRIBLE experience today at this salon. I got highlights with Mercedes. I showed her photos of what I wanted prior to starting. I trusted she knew what she was doing. I ended up with WASHED OUT burnt out almost white blond hair. ****I was shocked*******. I went back to the salon to ask for a refund and they told me they could redo my hair at the salon. As I no longer trust them I asked them for a refund. In order to get a refund I haver to call an 800 number, the salon did not do it. AVOID this salon if you can.
