At the beginning it was great the girl that was there was nice and friendly, I got a treatment on my hair and I think I was very sensitive to the odor so I told her to PLEASE rinse it , there were only 3 minutes left , she started to blow dry my hair and I told her in a nice way to please go over my roots since the were completely wet , she asked me if I wanted to finish my hair and I said ok , but I really had to start over since it was wet on my roots then she passed by and again I said I'm sorry my hair is a bit hard she ... read more

$210 for it to look like I didn't get anything done. I want my money back. Worst highlights I've ever had. I should have listened to the other reviews. I wanted my roots done and it looks like she didn't add any color. Awful.

Could not be less satisfied. Made an appointment for my 16 yo daughter to get a balayage only to find out after we arrived that "due to liability concerns", Madison Reed doesn't do hair coloring on minors. Oh, and we waited a half hour after our appointment time before finding out this tidbit of information. This was mentioned ZERO TIMES on the website when we made the appointment. I sat with the hair dye for 1hr. It wasn't until I asked the hair colorist how much longer do I need to sit to get their attention. Apparently the assistants forgot about me. Also nobody asked me if I wanted anything to drink while I sat there for 1 hour.

Very poor customer service in this location. I came in for a color service and the colorist and staff don't seem to be interested in being/working there. I came back to return a product I ordered online two days after my service since I decided to get my color done in person. None of the staff seem to know how to do a return except the manager who was there and present. I was told to come back 30 minutes later to be helped. I drove to get there and I cannot wait in the area for that long because I have other appointments. It... read more

Sadly I have to agree with all the other reviewers about my experience here. They are always over booked and understaffed. There is no receptionist to greet you so I (along with others) are left awkwardly standing at the empty front desk. Finally someone acknowledges me and asks me to go sit in one of the little grey chairs in the back as they are running "a few minutes behind". Twenty minutes pass and not a peep. My experience was well below expectations. The hair colorist was impersonal and made no effort to get to know my hair color preference or any specific considerations or requests. To make things worse, despite paying $75 for the same thing I could do on my own at home, he missed some roots right at the top of my forehead which I will now need to fix on my own. Easily the worst experience I've ever had. A few things: 1) I made the appointment for a full highlight. They only did a partial highlight (still took 3 hours) AND were planning to charge me for a full. My biggest issues were that they didn't realize the issue first and that they didn't seem apologetic for the error. I know they didn't realize the issue first because I figured it out only when the manager mentioned to me in passing that "next time I should do a full," at which point I looked at her incredibly confused. while the outcome looked great, the price was definitely not worth it. You have to pay so much more to simply get your hair blow dried and they cant cut your hair either. I've been to places for less, gotten the same outcome, with the inclusion of a hair cut/trim and getting my hair dried. The workers are great and kind and this is not an insult to them. It's the businesses price and way of running things that is the problem. I suggest going somewhere else for a cheaper price.
