This place is great for when you wake up and can't believe you let your roots go that long. Quick! Call Madison Reed. They are great colorists (David was excellent) and you're in and out in 90 minutes. Blow dry your own hair and it's only $60 for roots and $90 to add gloss. Great alternative to pricey salons!

I had a great experience here with Mashid. I have some of my first grays coming in and felt self-conscious. She blended them in with the color she chose and my hair still looks like my hair. I also had a gloss done. I am not sure that did much. My hair doesn't look any shinier than before but that's just the product. Overall a really great experience.

I've been coloring my roots myself with an inexpensive root coloring kit for the past few years. I saw that a Madison Reed salon opened up in my neighborhood so I decided to treat myself and I couldn't be happier. My root color looks very natural and matches my own hair color perfectly. I will definitely go back after having a great experience in the salon between getting a great coloring job and the friendly staff.

My experience at Madison Reed surpassed my expectations. I wasn't really in the mood to deal with this "errand" right now but my gray roots could be ignored no longer. First, let me say I LOVE the color I received, so rich and creamy. And the application was precise! My reason for the 3 star review is the cost for what you receive. You enter the salon and the staff are not in uniform. There are no cosmetology licenses in plain sight, so you don't know if the person applying your color is licensed. Once your color is applied, the staff never check in. You just wait for it to process and then a random person washes your hair (the water alternates between hot and cold). If you were recently a first time client of ours your cost of service would have been and introductory cost of $60 for a root only touch up and $75 for a roots and gloss service.
