My first time at Madison Reed and had the best experience. I loved the color picked for based on what I was looking for. The staff was very nice and professional, at all time taking care of their customers and taking all safety precautions.

I started coming to Madison Reed to have my hair colored during Covid. Between my kids and my job, I really appreciate the ability to efficiently get my hair colored. The salon is bright and clean and they are very committed to Covid safety protocols. They always do a wonderful job and my color looks great. After my first visit, I noticed that the colored picked did not have enough pigment to cover my gray. I wrote that in a solicited review and within a day, they wrote me back and offered a free color appointment to resolve my disappointment. Please note, that I did not suggest or ask for this. I simply stated that I was disappointed. What a pleasant surprise. I booked another appointment and now I am completely satisfied.

The colorists did a great job with my hair, love the results. The reason for four stars is because of the extra charge to get your hair blow dried by a professional. There is an option to blow dry your own hair for free but any other place would include free blow dry with color. I knew this before my visit so it's not like I wasn't informed but I think it's something they need to change.

Thank god for Madison Reed in my neighborhood. They have their own brand of hair colors that are ammonia and paraben free so I assume it's less harmful for your hair, specially if you are a regular. The salon is pretty well maintained even during Covid. They sanitize regularly and maintain social distance between clients. I usually get root touch up or full hair color done with my favorite shade of Venezian brown, as I have darker hair. Went here when Flatiron was booked. Pro tip, you can still request a color gloss by calling the salon to make an appointment even though it is no longer offered on the site. The appointment was during COVID so everyone wore masks and were spaced out. The salon was very clean and had a cute inspirational mural in the sink area when you're getting your hair washed so bring your phone! I had the most pleasant experience here!!! As a first time client and a bride to be, I was a little nervous but decided to trust the other positive reviews and take a chance. I could not be happier!! Camilo gave me the perfect smoky brown root and a clear gloss that refreshed my highlights. Ana gave me a wonderful blow out and she is such a doll!!
