I love Maggie McFlys but this location was extremely disappointing. Bartenders weren't friendly at all, they don't smile. Didn't give out silverware without us asking, had to ask for a second drink which came in a different glass and tasted completely different even though it was the same exact drink, my boyfriend never even got a second drink because no one ever checked on us once we got each item. So to start we were surprised and excited to find a Maggie mcflys in New York and said let's give our favorite place a try. Unfortunately it didn't live up to the name! Dirty silverware, no plates given to share apps. We sat at the bar and didn't see our bartenders smile even once. Personality was non existent in a restaurant that really wasn't busy at all. Just had lunch here - recommended by someone we recently met. Should have looked at reviews - 2.9 overall is about what we got. Burger ordered was over cooked, bacon flaccid and food was not hot. Service ehh. I commented to bartender that burger was not how I ordered it and she asked me what I wanted her to do. Said she could take it off the bill if I didn't eat it. Since I didn't want to wait for them to recook, I ate as is. No discount offered - no further conversation. Will not be going back.

We had driven all day and all we wanted was a good meal and a cold beverage. It was a Sunday evening so not crazy busy at the restaurant. The hostess seated us immediately. We had never eaten at a Maggie McFly's so it was fun to read the impressive menu. This was my first time here and while the place is nice, my experience was below average. When we arrived we were quickly seated. We were a party of 3 on a Friday night. I am giving two stars because parts of the experience had potential and others failed horribly. We order 2 soft drinks and one margarita. The margarita took what seems forever to be served. The service was awful!! Wouldn't go here again! There was something wrong with one of the orders when they came out. Our server didn't stop by our table for 25 minutes afterwards. Then it took another 20-25 minutes for the correct order to get to us. When we got our check it was for the full price; I would think they would discount something for making us wait almost an hour for their mistake. The food is good, but the service is poor.

We ordered the BBQ brisket to share. It came out cold. It had so much sauce on it, we couldn't eat it...yuck. So much for a hot sit-down meal. Oh yes, speaking of sitting down. We were seated, and the server acknowledged us 12 minutes after seating. Then we waited on our menus, which she eventually handed to us. After another 12 minutes, she took our order. Ate lunch there today. We had calamari and mozzarella sticks for appetizers. Not very good the calamari was tough and the mozzarella sticks were way too large to cook properly so the crust got greasy and overcooked and the cheese in the center was undercooked. My wife had tortellini Alfredo which was ok. She had to get it without the bacon that seems to be in a lot of dishes. Food was good no doubt;however, I ordered at 5:30p but didn't receive any food until 7p. The bartender (who was very nice) said they needed to still cook my food (but I had to ask about it). Would've been nice if she checked on my order although I'm sure she was busy....the server who did finally bring my food pretty much just dropped it in front of me not realizing I needed utensils. Overall, a little more attention to detail would've been nice.
