Always a great place to eat with kiddos. Usually loud in there so no worries with kids. The foid is great too. SALADS are huge!
My husband and I come here on occasion since the location is near to home and the menu has enough variety to please everyone. Last night (Wednesday) we came for dinner and it was jam packed! Yum! I haven't been to Maggie McFly's in many years, but came here for a birthday dinner with some friends. I got the steak and it was melt-in-your-mouth delicious! The server was very nice and attentive. I was impressed with the beer selection and was able to try a new craft beer I've never had. The tiramisu was light and delicious without being too sweet. Overall we were all very happy with the meal.
We ordered delivery through Vroom and ended up with a cupcake for dessert when we ordered the Tiramisu. I've been craving Tiramisu for a while and was a bit upset that they had messed up this portion of the order. Everything else was correct! Stopped in here late night Sunday. Impressive hours. Interesting booths, not a lot of privacy unless you head upstairs. We were seated in front of (our sides facing) the TV, which meant that everyone in the room was looking our way which just felt strange. This place was packed on a Saturday evening as we had to wait. It was a large place with an upstairs dining area as well as a spacious bar space. The service was good while the menu was one of the larger ones I have seen. I also liked they had their suppliers of certain items on their menu too. There was only one general issue. One of the people at my table ordered a pizza, but the waiter politely told us they do not serve pizza in the winter because it would be too smoky and no windows can be open. Maggie's is great. The food is delicious. Their new menu is much less overwhelming than the one prior & the ambience is great as always. When you're upstairs however, it can be a little chilly with the large windows next to the seating tables. Other than that everything is great. Including the customer service. Great spot!
Just had a business meeting at Maggie McFlys in Middlebury. This is the original Maggie's location. I've been here before but its been a few years. I love the ambience of this place. We went on Valentines Day and after we arrived it REALLY filled up. The sell point of Maggie's is not just the quality of their food but the SIZE of their menu. Great extensive extensive menu. Lots of TVs and good ice cream for dessert. The food is very tasty and good portions match their reasonable prices. How about that they use a lot of local suppliers for real fresh food, including great bread from Rockland Bakery! Smoked BBQ is local too and that's really good.
