This is the first time I have ever written a bad review for any restaurant in my life. The bartender had ZERO personality. It took her 20 minutes to take our drink order (there were 8 people at the bar) It took another 10 minutes to take our food order. No SMILE, no PERSONALITY!! I am a frequent patron of Maggie Mcflys and at numerous locations throughout CT. This particular visit was of my typical experiences at Maggie's with good service, good atmosphere and great food. However, when it came time to pay the bill at the end of the evening my waitress Natalie came to the table to get the check and my credit card to pay the bill. I ordered for takeout today 8/10 and ordered the Pulled Pork tacos with no Salsa verde. When I got home the food was cold and on the tacos was salsa verde. I am very disappointed and will not be coming back.

I ordered food for four people on GrubHub....170 later. Besides being 38 minutes late... The shepherds pie instead of having ground beef has cut up hamburgers that have been already cooked. There is no flavor to it. Other than the charbroiled broken up hamburgers. The base of the Ramen soup is a French onion soup type. Got seated. Luckily got drink order and app in. Then got ignored - after 30 minutes no one ever came back to take our order, check in or even give us our check (I had to ask for the check). Never headed back!

I was fooled at first: The place looks super cute but DO NOT go if your not white. People were rude probably racist now that I think about it. The waiter continuously forgot to bring something. Never checked on us when food was dropped off. Never asked for a refill, one drink for 3 unnecessary hours. Never came to pick up the check. 2 of us arrived there about 5:45 pm 1/28/23, only to be told it was a 20-30 minute wait for the upstairs, it I were asked to do the stair I would but I'm semi disabled , they said they were seating all customers because the lower level had reserved tables for parties ... I feel discriminated against .

I have been to this restaurant before and always good. that was not the case today. fish and chips ordered and they were not crisp but kind of soggy, but that wasn't the worst, there was a large hair coming out of the fish. I didnot notice this until halfway through! the manager never came over, no one apologized but it really sickened me. They did not charge for it but that was not enough for me. I would not recommend this place again and I would beware if eating here!
