Everything here is slightly below average except the prices. We live close by so we really wanted to like this place and gave it multiple tries. We chalked up our past not so good experiences to off nights or just the staff having a bad day. Food quality is low, service is just eh, and prices are too high for what you get. Just seems that as a whole, the staff just doesn't really care. Better off going to some of the spots in Naugatuck like 66 Church, The Hub, or even The Station.

This review is not for the service at all. Both my boyfriend and I went inside the middlebury location to order "takeout" . We went inside and ordered and waited for our food, which mind you came out in a very timely fashion. The restaurant was pretty dead for a Saturday so I actually figured the food would be done quickly. What I didn't figure was when I got home with my order that I would see 3 chicken tenders in my order. 3!!! I paid 12.99 for 3 chicken tenders and a half pound of French fries. This was by far the slowest service I have ever received here. The help was severely understaffed. The restaurant was packed well over 50% its capacity and did i mention the service was SLOW! My order should've been ready 45 mins ago and I'm still here. Do better Maggie McFlys. I'm so mad right now.

It's unfortunate that I find myself in the position of having to write this review, but I tried my best to avoid it. Have been a Maggie's customer for 15+ years. We go primarily to the Middlebury, CT location, but have also gone countless times to Southbury and Brookfield. Birthdays, graduations, sports celebrations, work dinners, other special occasions- we have gone there probably hundreds of times. So I just waited 10 minutes at the hostess stand for someone to seat us and no one ever acknowledged us. Walked out. Won't be going back there anytime soon

I have been to Maggie McFly's in Middlebury a few times at the request of some of my friends. Normally I would not give it one star cause if I am honest the food is usually mediocre to good (2-4 stars based on the day). No, what really has made me give it one star is this restaurant blatantly disregarding the Covid-19 rules and restrictions governor Lamont recently imposed. I've eaten at Maggie's before, at a couple of locations and love the Thai lettuce wraps. I was really looking forward to supporting them during this weird time. My BF and I arrived at approximately 2:00 on a Sunday and observed that they were pretty busy, but had outdoor seating set up. This Restaurant has always seemed slow in the past and our experience was pretty negative this time . Seated outside ( COVID) with loads of birds flying by the tables and landing on some of them was less than appealing. Menus delivered but no one came for our order after 15 minutes then a waitress came to the table behind ours with guests who arrived after us! I got her attention and she took our order first.
