It's unfortunate that I find myself in the position of having to write this review, but I tried my best to avoid it. Have been a Maggie's customer for 15+ years. We go primarily to the Middlebury, CT location, but have also gone countless times to Southbury and Brookfield. Birthdays, graduations, sports celebrations, work dinners, other special occasions- we have gone there probably hundreds of times. So I just waited 10 minutes at the hostess stand for someone to seat us and no one ever acknowledged us. Walked out. Won't be going back there anytime soon

I have been to Maggie McFly's in Middlebury a few times at the request of some of my friends. Normally I would not give it one star cause if I am honest the food is usually mediocre to good (2-4 stars based on the day). No, what really has made me give it one star is this restaurant blatantly disregarding the Covid-19 rules and restrictions governor Lamont recently imposed. I've eaten at Maggie's before, at a couple of locations and love the Thai lettuce wraps. I was really looking forward to supporting them during this weird time. My BF and I arrived at approximately 2:00 on a Sunday and observed that they were pretty busy, but had outdoor seating set up. This Restaurant has always seemed slow in the past and our experience was pretty negative this time . Seated outside ( COVID) with loads of birds flying by the tables and landing on some of them was less than appealing. Menus delivered but no one came for our order after 15 minutes then a waitress came to the table behind ours with guests who arrived after us! I got her attention and she took our order first. The Middlebury location has seriously gone so down hill within the past year. Every single time I've ordered from here within the past year something is ALWAYS wrong and missing items, and will not refund for it. Their new staff seems untrained. I am a vegetarian and specified this and my order still came with meat, luckily i noticed before i bit into it. Save your time and money and go to the Southbury location.

Did an online order on Mothers Day for curbside pickup due to the Covid virus, placed my order and asked for a 6pm pickup, never got my order until 7pm ( I get it, it was Mothers Day ) by the time I got home, the food was cold ( I live 10 minutes away ) Ordered Baked stuff shrimp and it was the worst I ever had, disgusting, most of it went in the trash along with my Cesar Salad, asked for Cesar Salad dressing and I am not sure what they gave me. The rest of my order was so so. A waste of 58.00

Really disappointed. Trying to support local restaurants. Ordered online at 6:10 and my son got there at 6:50, 5 minutes before the earliest time to order was supposed to be ready. Someone came out to his car THREE TIMES to ask his name. We didn't get food until 7:40. By the time he drove the 15 minutes home, it was completely cold.
