stopped in on a cold rainy afternoon. ordered an Irish Coffee. got a cup of coffee in a paper cup ($3.89) a side dish with creamers and sugar and a shot of whiskey ($8.00 for Jameson according to our bill). stunning. Don't order an Irish Coffee. They have no clue.

I came with a friend last night for a nice relaxing evening and good food. I've come to this restaurant many times in the past and watched it go downhill. Last night was the worst. It took over 10 minutes for the waitress to greet us. The restaurant was not really busy I must add. It took another 10 minutes to get water after asking if we wanted drinks. This used to be my go-to place that I used to love! I would go at least twice a week between dinner, lunch, or drinks with friends. The food is still decent however the wait times and lack of attention from staff is very disappointing. I gave excuses of her covid that ...well, was covid. I gave excuses in the spring 2021 that everyone was short-staffed due to stimulus packages and people staying home. But now?... Was here last night. We sat outside on the patio, it was very nice. However, the Food was just ok, but I ordered a burger w/ brie and fig jam. I specifically told the waitress I wanted more fig jam. The burger arrived with NO jam at all. Also, had to call out the cheese police - hardly any brie cheese at all. It was disappointing to say the least. We paid the bill and left a nice tip. Horrible service, food was terrible and took over 30 mins because we weren't friends with the servers or other workers. The ramen dish came out with noodles that were almost mush and the broth and soup itself wasn't hot. The chicken Caesar salad was mush and the French onion soup was nothing like it used to be, don't waste your time give up on Maggie's, we've tried multiple times because we used to love it here but it's gone under!

So my boyfriend and I went for a late dinner. The place was not very busy and at least to me did not look understaffed!? We came in got seated upstairs it seemed pretty busy this Sunday evening we noticed right away our waitress was favoriting another table near us and unfortunately that caused our service to be extremely delayed which we were really unhappy about we ordered a nacho platter it came with beans cheese chips salsa guacamole and sour cream was put on the side as we asked. I don't know what exactly is going on at that place, but this is the second time my order has been delivered wrong or inedible. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger medium rare. Definitely not. I also decided to treat myself to some cheesecake. I figured if it was $8 then it must be good! HOLY CRAP WAS I WRONG. I received a stale, clearly store bought, smashed tiny slice of what smells like feet. Are you guys serious?? Never again. You've lost a patron for life.
Everything here is slightly below average except the prices. We live close by so we really wanted to like this place and gave it multiple tries. We chalked up our past not so good experiences to off nights or just the staff having a bad day. Food quality is low, service is just eh, and prices are too high for what you get. Just seems that as a whole, the staff just doesn't really care. Better off going to some of the spots in Naugatuck like 66 Church, The Hub, or even The Station.
