Not impressed with how down hill this restaurant has gone. I have celiac, and told them my dinner was for a gluten allergy (easier to understand). I got my dish with gluten free pasta (supposedly). It tasted firm and I thought it was cooked well. I got very sick. It was either regular pasta or gluten free pasta cooked in the same water. I got shrimp and scallops, and for 30.00 I got bay scallops. They were clearly frozen. Also, they were was little alcohol in our drinks (if any). Ordered food to be delivered. The apple crisp "dessert" was three pieces of apple. Not worth $8.

With two starving girls while driving back from AAU basketball, we figured the original Maggie's was a safe (if uninspired) bet. Man we're we wrong. I'll preface the rest of this by saying that I grew up in Naugatuck, and I've been periodically stopping into this particular restaurant for 25 plus years. Our server, Whitney, tried to play the cool server card by not writing anything down. She promptly forgot my drink order. I go to Maggie's once a week or so but the Glastonbury location. Always order the same meal. Today I got it and it was maybe 1/4th of the normal portion at the Middlebury location. Pointed it out to our server who told her manager but nothing was done at all. Didn't even bother talking to us or offering something. Overall very disappointing and left me feeling just as hungry. Not a cheap meal either. Our waitress was absolutely amazing though!

Placed an order for pickup. Was given a time of 7:12 so I drove to the restaurant. At 8:15 I left because it was 15 degrees outside and my food STILL WASNT READY. It wasn't ready for TWO HOURS after I placed my order. Two hours for two simple meals. You mean to tell me they'd make a sit down customer wait two hours for their food? Never did get dinner. I'd rather eat fast food than ever give this place my hard earned money again.

The service was great. Establishment was clean. Tuna nachos were great. Burger was dry. Music made me want to smash my head through a wall. It was so sad I couldn't stay.

Our visit wasn't particularly comfortable and this location can use a remodel as the upstairs booths are hard wood and extremely tight. The farm to table burger was very difficult to eat because it was 5 inches tall, and was served on a cutting board making it super messy and awkward. The old fashion cocktail was very wrong, it was made with what tasted like scotch, but didn't want to send it back because it was already very slow to begin with. Wanted to take my mom out for her birthday so I called and put my name down for 7pm. I spoke to a manager since we were a larger group and she said everything was set. Get there and they say they don't have my name and the wait will be 30. So we waited and after 30 min asked how much longer and they said they don't know and they don't have my name down. Meanwhile large parties like ours that were walk ins got sat after a few minutes. Unprofessional and Disappointing.

Tried leaving review on website but would not work. Third time in a row food and service not acceptable. Slow to check back when not busy. Food is a whole another story. Last visit clams and mussels was terrible. Shrimp and scallops far diarrhea was even worse. Scallops non existent and shrimp dried out. Time before was no attention from wait staff. Mac and cheese with lobster was mediocre. Time before burger and sliders overcooked. Will try one more time.
