BLUF: okay food, but poor service on several levels I have been here twice before and had a mediocre experience each time. This time was actually a little worse. To begin with, we planned to go there for Mother's Day brunch. Looking online, you see the suggestion to make a reservation. So I called to make a reservation only to be told by the woman who answered that they don't take reservations on the weekend. Our server was great but the food was very mediocre for the price we were charged. My father ordered a steak priced at $35 that came with shrimp, asparagus I believe, and rice. The shrimp was very bland, like the cook didn't bother to sprinkle ANY salt or pepper. The steak was super thin, similar to the sirloin steak you find at Waffle House. Food is absolutely terrible. The service is great ambiance is great, and the bar all good. However the food is indeed that bad everything is either repulsing or identical to frozen food u could buy at the store but at a 60% mark up. Do not recommend

Having a work luncheon, I ordered the Thai lettuce wraps. I noticed a piece of black hair under the lettuce. When I received my bill, my food was not discounted. The manager came to me and told me it was the root of the lettuce. He gave me a $4 discount which was ridiculous. It was a piece of hair! 1/25/2023

I wanted to like this place so much! I've visited their location in CT and remember wishing they had a location near Washington DC. On the upside, it was very easy to get a table. Staff is friendly. The quality of the food is pretty good. That said.... I visited twice in one weekend (hoping the place would redeem itself on the second visit). I was really dissatisfied with my most recent order this evening. I had it delivered via DoorDash. 4 things were wrong in just this one order. I didn't receive my green beans, I didn't receive my cake, they sent the wrong potatoes and my steak wasn't cooked as requested. Not sure I'll be ordering again.

Food was prepared poorly and was not fresh. The ribs were over-cooked and in places had the consistency of jerky. Overall the food was very greasy as well and lacked flavor.

I can only review my experience, which does not include drinks or food. We went there for happy hour and read online that discounted prices were only available in the bar. Since it was my first time there, I asked an employee if the booths and tables around the perimeter of the bar area were considered the bar. She told me yes and gave me a menu. The menu has many pages, but I didn't see the menu for happy hour. The bartender pointed to the bar and told us that we had to move the two yards to the bar seat in order to get the... read more

I used to like these folks more, but their quality has gone down considerably in the past year or two. I just have the one video, but I wish I took more pictures from our meal last night, it was unbelievably sad. -Water had white debris in it -Another glass was clearly cracked all the way around -The chicken dumplings had a long white hair in it -Their cocktails are mediocre... Stick to beer and wine
