At 1pm on a football Sunday, Yard House was packed so we decided to try Maggie Mcfly's. We sat at the bar, where there were only a handful of customers. The sole bartender seemed stoned out of his gourd. He gave us one menu, which is weird given their menu has about 15 pages of choices. Then bartender spent almost all of his time on the other side of the bar. We had to wave him over three times. Unsurprisingly, the food was below average. We'll never go back. It's a shame because it's a nice space.
I thought it looked interesting. This is my second visit here but the first one didn't go so well. It was a few months ago. Anyway first visit I didn't leave a review but I ordered a salad and the dressing was off (did not carry French which is my preference). My husband had a burger and wasn't thrilled. Went to Maggie's for an early birthday dinner. Wait wasn't too long. Service was okay. Order the quinoa salad delicious also order the simply salmon with broccolini and brown rice and that came with a side of hair. We notified our waiter who in turn notified the manager who was on duty Brenna, I believe that was her name. My guest felt uncomfortable with his food and in return asked the waiter to take it back, which is understandable. Went in there for a quick appetizer and beer before going to a friends get together on a Sunday. After about 7 mins sitting at the bar the bartender came over and gave us menus. We proceeded to wait 17 mins before just getting up and leaving. If I could rate 0 stars I would. This place is trash don't waste your time or money. Our server let us sit for 15 mins with no greeting and it wasn't until I stood up someone from the bar went and got our lazy waiter. Our experience at this restaurant was horrible! We were a party of 13 so I will spare the server. But other than that, the wait time was horrible. The food was bland and disgusting. Mashed potatoes tasted like nothing. Witnessed one server throw a to go container at another server due to stressful labor shortage. Small Asian lady was working hard and was doing her best. This was my first time at Maggie Mcfly's and it is safe to say I will not be returning any time soon. I came around lunch time 12/1 and the staff seemed to be completely overwhelmed and understaffed. To begin, it took over 20 minutes to just get drinks and then an additional 30 minutes to get SOME of the appetizers. I have been here about three times in the past 3 or so years and always had delicious food and drinks. I chose to take a friend today and was telling him the food and drinks are great. But, today I am not sure what changed. I haven't been here in like a year now. The food was not so delicious and the drinks were even worse. My friends and I went here today to have lovely lunch but instead we had to deal with a rude server who constantly was giving us attitude whenever we asked for more drinks and wanted to order something else.
