After buying a home with no HVAC system, I had multiple companies come out for estimates. Maki stood out immediately as the most knowledgeable and thorough. Although their price was slightly higher, I trusted they would do the job right--and they absolutely did. Their products are reliable their after service care is not. We had a new system installed just a few months ago and have been waiting months for a damaged part to be replaced. After numerous calls on our part and numerous excuses on theirs, we are STILL WAITING. We were assured that once the rain cleared the installer would show up personally to complete the repair. Needless to say we never received a call, and no one ever showed up. I dread ever needing any work done under their warranty.

This could have been a really bad review but Maki heating and air, under new management, fixed what was originally a botched job their companies workers had done installing a new HVAC unit. I won't go into details about the bad stuff but Donavan came out and noticed we had a big problem and he called his boss to confirm and they listened to what I told them had happened with the original installers and immediately took action. In February 2025, Maki installed all new ducting for our heating and air system. We highly recommend this company! Chris came to our home to assess the scope of work and created a detailed bid for the replacement ducting. Price was realistic, professionalism and attention to detail high. Crew arrived on time, were personable and hardworking. I will never use them again! The cocky serviceman who came out said a circuit board was out and would cost $900 to replace. Since you obviously have a leak it would cost you over $3,000 to fix so I advise replacing it. How much would that be I said, oh about $21,000. I said I don't plan on spending money to fix it right now and don't have $21 grand. He said well I can make the fan work. He by passed the switch and put the two wires together. Just had my 6 month heating maintenance done today by Thomas. He was here on time and did a thorough check up. He even found that my thermostat had never been connected correctly and fixed that for me. I had cleaned my resuable filter and then he showed me how to properly clean it and it looks brand new. I am highly recommending Maki for your heating and air and ask for Thomas, he is the best ever, thank you!!!
They are a rip off. Charging me twice for their error to come out twice. They are local and I thought I would do local. A mistake.
