I can't say enough good things about Maki. They came in and diagnosed the problem, gave me a quote and came within the week. They sent enough guys to get the work done quickly. They were all so polite, introduced all of the guys, taped up the registers, got the work done quickly, asked before they used the facilities, cleaned up after themselves. They all wore their masks all day long. Could've have been a better experience.
Makiair in Auburn, Ca. John went into the incredibly hot attic and wasn't coming down until he was absolutely sure the whole house fan was fixed right. He's an awesome guy with a big heart. My AC stopped blowing cold air and I had Maki make a service call. Instead of the technician making a big sales pitch, he identified a single part to replace that solved the problem. I appreciated both the technician's expertise and honesty. I should mention the unit is 17 years old so it would have been fairly easy to convince me that it was time to replace.

Made an appointment for an estimate for a repair over the weekend. The appointment window was 2:00-4:00pm. I was notified by phone at 1:57pm that they needed to cancel my appointment. I had taken the afternoon off of work to be here for the appointment window. I appreciate the phone call (hence the two stars rather than one) but more notice would have been great. Will be going with another company for the repair.

I really need to give maki a great review. Our AC stopped working. in auburn ca 1) the person on the phone was nice. 2) The appointment was easy to schedule. 3) Brent the technician was nice and got right on the job. 4) in a timely manner the problem was found. and fixed! 5) no mess was left behind and the unit was put back together clean. 6) tested the unit and inside temp ... We had a completely new heating and AC system put in, along with a whole house fan. The price was great. It was all installed quickly and efficiently. Everything is working perfectly. They were very professional and quick to answer any questions. We are very pleased with the entire process - the crew worked well together and made an effort to do the job correctly and neatly. Highly recommend them.

Had a pantry light that was out for 2 years. Had a handyman look into it and couldn't figure it out. So we called Maki to finally get it fixed. A Gentlemen named Ritch came to our home to diagnose. He was on time, polite, and easy to talk to. He found the problem quickly and even educated us a bit on LED's and dimmer switches. :) Great company, would definitely use their services again!

We were looking to install a ductless mini-split system in our home. Michael provided an estimate in a timely manner, along with suggestions for optimum efficiency. The installation was scheduled within a few days. Steve and his crew arrived and quickly set up a controlled work area, protecting floors and hanging plastic drapes to control dust and debris. Last year they did a tune up; this year it broke. Hot summer days and my warranty guys are booked until Saturday. Cannot understand why you have to do some mediocre job on a premium system. I see all the coils inside are dirty and God knows what else broke in it may be after your tuneup ? Will be knowing this Saturday I suppose. Too bad.
