Boy, do I wish I had done more research before signing up with Massey for pest control service. They never came out for any of the follow-up services they promised and never filled in any cracks and crevices as they claimed they would. Then they charged me an extra $90 and said it was in my contract. When they sent me a "copy" of the contract I signed they had clearly crossed out one amount and written in another, much higher amount. But since I cannot locate my physical copy, I am just out of luck and $90 I did not expect. ... read more

We have had Massey for many years. In the beginning there was a great guy (Lester) that would come and take care of everything and anything. After he was relocated the service caliber dropped drastically. Service would come, write the invoice and walk around the property to do nothing. The lawn has brown spots all over and they claimed the sprinkler system, which is a whole other story. We have cameras so we would see. I finally fired Massey and hired a local guy and we have some kind of bug in the lawn that Massey never pic... read more

I used be a technician there and it was a horrible experience. They pay well, but no balance of family or work life. The management is usually scatter-brained. They threw me in a truck with little training and no direction. They blame everything on the techs whom they don’t train and take no responsibility for themselves. Horribly run. Treat many customers poorly and their techs even worse. Techs are usually burned out in first month. 12+ hour days including nights and weekends.

Worst experience you could possibly have....... On Jan 2nd I signed for both lawn and pest control.... Experiences in both areas were a disaster..... It took 5 months from date of contract for a tech to show up for pest control....June 12th is when someone showed up! They come and soliciate---nobody called them--- to adjust irrigation, telling my wife they will send the bill, when the irrigation is fine.... My future son in law applied for a job there. He went through entire application and screening process in Tallahassee office. They seemed to like him as a candidate and asked him to do a “ride-a-long” Monday. The ride-a-long was about ten hours of which the employee had him do most of the work. When they got back in the shop, they told him his work history wasn’t up to their standards. This company isn’t just pathetic, but what they did to him is against employment law.

Wife went with this company for pest control and it has been one issue after another. Our main complaint was ants around the front of our house- after 4 retreats they are still there ! AND WE HAVE ADDED HUGE SPIDERS, SNAKES AND NOW MICE IN MY DOWNSTAIRS!!! When I tell you we never had these issues before now - that is no lie! Now fast forward to them trying to take $90 for services i have yet to receive!!! After I told them last week I wanted my money back! Worst experience I've had with a company in a long time. Massey Services found a colony of bees in a homeowners yard. Called the local bee guy and asked him to come get them - homeowner agreed. Local bee guy shows up and find the technician EXTERMINATED THE ENTIRE COLONY WITH WASP SPRAY! Shame on you Massey. #savethebees #nobeesnofood

Horrible service. Over charged and still have rodents. Made me pay for products I already had then kept harassing me for Payment when I signed up for auto pay. I always go mom and pop but don’t do it!!! Not professional at all

Lawn Service: 3 stars--ehh...ok. Still have weeds and they blame everyone else but themselves. But not the worst. Irrigation: 1 star. The worst. Make sure to check EVERY invoice. Always suggest you spend thousands of $ to totally redo system but never follow through with any type of actual quote. Pest/Termite: 5 stars. Never an issue. Always polite and professional and I always know when to expect them. Never a bug in my home! Customer service/front desk: 2 stars. Rude most of time. I always feel like I am both... read more
