Unfortunately the max I can give is 5 stars, but Mervis Diamond Importers deserves so much more. Sure, you can go to many large chain diamond stores, or even purchase online, but you won't get the real experience, expertise, and care like you will at Mervis. Bought my engagement ring (.76 carat princess cut) set in a diamond channel platinum setting in 1998. Received a GIA report with diamond stating it is a perfect square, no pits or gouges and SI1. Six years later (2004) the corner prong cracked off. I went back to Mervis to have the mount repaired (total cost $350.00). I have to say this was a totally different jewelry purchase I have ever experienced and Mervis sets the bar very high. This is not a jewelry store in the mall or one that says high end and has so many cases and choices it's overwhelming. I actually went for two rings I wanted and left with an experience that was unforgettable and will have my business. Saved me big time when I needed a new diamond in an earring. Great and quick service before my mom ever noticed what had happened, thank you guys! :) In case you're wondering, I'd borrowed my mom's diamond earrings for an event at work, and when I got home, a small diamond was missing, I of course told my mom about it, but still wanted to replace it before returning them to her.

Folks here are more sales people than diamond experts. I only stopped by because there are only so many stores in the area that sell Tacori. The service was extremely awkward, ending with the gentleman demanding my address. He said he gave me his address on his card (mind you, the address was the store) and demanded I give him mine. I already gave him contact information of a phone number and email, but for some reason, he was adamant about a physical address. We had a great experience at Mervis. From the engagement ring to wedding bands, Jeanette at Mervis was there for us. Always ready to give the best possible advice even when it didn't result in it in a ring they had. She made certain we got the best possible deal. When we were ready to order the rings she was always on top of everything. We had two time crunches, one for the engagement and one for the wedding. She made sure we got our rings on time and that they fit perfect and looked amazing. Couldn't have asked for more.

I did not know a thing about diamonds. My exposure to diamonds was from listening to Ads on radio (Ronny Mervis' voice in my ears). My office in Tysons is right across the street from my office but I chose to go their Rockville place since I was going to go there on a Saturday. They have parking in front of the store. You may need to wait for the first door to be opened and then wait for a few seconds for the second door to be opened, which I thought was good security. I recently purchased a ring from this Mervis location, and could not have been happier! They have an exquisite selection of jewelry for all fashions. From start to finish I was treated with the upmost respect from the entire staff. Oh, and did I mention to say they had my ring set and completed in less than 2 hours! I recommend Mervis to anyone looking to purchase a high quality piece of jewelry.

My husband and I had such an amazing experience at Mervis. Especially with Janette Davila. I had a specific ring in mind for my wedding band and she made that idea come to life. She was so patient with all the back and forth regarding the design of the ring and it turned out perfect, I couldn't be happier. If you are in the rockville area you should go see her, she is amazing!
