I had the opportunity to purchase a diamond tennis bracelet and earrings during their annual holiday trunk show at their Tysons Corner location. Besides excellent wine and appetizers, I found their staff to be very knowledgeable as well as friendly and not pushy. The prices were very reasonable and the service exceptional.
I lost my engagement ring and went to Mervis to get my replacement! I meet with Mika Smith-Jones. She was wonderful and confident that I would find a diamond I would love. I started my search before the COVID 19 quarantine. Once I found the right diamond and setting Mika took it from there. Once everything was perfect they were able to mail me the ring overnight to avoid any exposure to the Coronavirus! Great service. I couldn't wait to get it and I'm so happy with it!
Very disappointed. Usually deal with Mervis in Dc. Had a terrible experience with a dealer after returning my ring after they had "fixed" a prong. The ring still was loose. After they finally reset the ring they reset it asymmetric. They at least admitted to that and fixed but it required me having to return for a third time. Would never by at this store. Terrible. Was planning on buying a ring but after the service will take my business elsewhere. Buyers beware

Unfortunately the max I can give is 5 stars, but Mervis Diamond Importers deserves so much more. Sure, you can go to many large chain diamond stores, or even purchase online, but you won't get the real experience, expertise, and care like you will at Mervis. Bought my engagement ring (.76 carat princess cut) set in a diamond channel platinum setting in 1998. Received a GIA report with diamond stating it is a perfect square, no pits or gouges and SI1. Six years later (2004) the corner prong cracked off. I went back to Mervis to have the mount repaired (total cost $350.00). I have to say this was a totally different jewelry purchase I have ever experienced and Mervis sets the bar very high. This is not a jewelry store in the mall or one that says high end and has so many cases and choices it's overwhelming. Saved me big time when I needed a new diamond in an earring. Great and quick service before my mom ever noticed what had happened, thank you guys! :) In case you're wondering, I'd borrowed my mom's diamond earrings for an event at work, and when I got home, a small diamond was missing, I of course told my mom about it, but still wanted to replace it before returning them to her.
