Total pain The wireless aspect of this machine sucks. We have to hardwire it for it to work and setting it up on our Mac was a real pain. It didn't come with a hardwire, so we had to get one on our own to get this to print. Still haven't figured out how to get the scanner to work.
Worst. Printer. Ever. I ordered this to replace a more expensive ink jet printer and I didn't need color. Figured it would be less to operate and easier. Wrong. This is the worst printer I have ever owned. I spend more time trouble shooting and reinstalling drivers than I do using it. Screw whoever designed the software.
Brother quality no longer the same I purchased this printer in December 2015 to replace my Brother MFC-7820N, which I owned for well over 10 years. Loved the wireless capability and the duplex printing was amazing. Everything seemed well and I went through the initial toner cartridge in just under 2 years. wireless issue This printer has serious wireless issue. It is not able to connect to my computer (mac & Wid10). I need to restart multiple times in order to connect.

Full of network problems Constantly has network issues. It says that it has connected to the network, but when I try to send something to a computer on the network it says "Check Connection". Other times when trying to print, all of the computers report that the printer is "Not turned on". These kinds of issues happen constantly and for no apparent reason. Extremely frustrating. I plan to avoid all Brother products in the future.
