    WiFi nightmare. Endless WiFi problems. Best used as a directly connected printer.

    Bought March 2018 Broken Sept 2018 Duplexer jammed and destroyed the finisher. Probably ran two reams through it in six months, so I didn't overuse it. Duplexer just isn't robust enough to print 50 pages at once. I don't know what application this flimsy product is built for, but it isn't for a home office. Unusual scan and save function too.

    Stop working after 7 month used Stop working and I need to find way to fix it by warranty

    Piece of Junk The touch screen freezes often requiring me to turn off and turn on the machine. Additionally during faxing multiple pages the machine does a poor job of separating the individual pages requiring one to fax in batches as small as 5 pages. Huge disappointment given past experience with Brother products

    I think mine had a software fail - returned Had issues that the Manufacturer had no answers for - returned The printer actually worked fine as did the copier the feeder and everything. The problem was the fact that it cycled the Screen on and off constantly, as though it were being activated to do something then it would slowly fade to dark again and within a few minutes start the cycle over. It sat in a corner (like all of the printers I have owned) near the TV and would distract viewing movies and such... annoying. I calle... read more

    Don't buy! Printer only lasted as long as included toner cartridge! Dead at 560 pages! I don't print much and I was having trouble with inkjet printers heads drying up and not working due to my infrequent printing so I purchased this laser printer in 2015 thinking it would last me a long time and be cheaper on ink (toner). Well the original toner Lasted me until May of 18. I purchased a new toner cartridge and replaced. The printer was great up until August 2018. I went to turn it on and it wouldn't turn on.     I have now switched brands and am much happier with my new system I was given this printer as my work printer. It worked well for about a month before it began breaking down. It does not print clearly enough to even read, let alone scan and send copies after printing. Our IT department and myself have worked to try to fix the issue to no avail. I have now switched brands and am much happier with my new system.

    WIFI connection drops constantly..... I am so bummed with this printer! WIFI connection drops constantly. If I send something to print, I have to restart my Brother, wait a minute and then quickly send....but no more than a dozen or so pages. Then I have to send more, very quickly. If I wait for even five minutes, before sending another print job.....wifi is dropped again. I am in a tiny 550 sq ft place. My CISCO router is working fine, because everything else is connecting without issue (computer, iPad, Apple TV, iPhone). O... read more

    Very clunky interface and worst of all that it keeps losing wireless connection Honestly, this printer is a PITA from the get go. The scanned images are fuzzy. Very clunky interface and worst of all that it keeps losing wireless connection. I heard good things about Brother, however, my experience is exactly opposite. One thing is for sure, never again Brother.
