You need to learn a Foreign Language when you need Support! You need to learn a foreign language when you need support. What kind of nonsense id this? Why this greedy manufacturer farms out support to people who are less than capable? I am no longer willing to support this product line.
Does not print color This is a black and white only printer. Don’t buy if you are looking for a color printer.
Document feeder quit working Scanning from the document feeder stopped working. Only 10 months old and not used that often.
Takes more than 30 seconds to print The price is right for the printer (where they get you is on the ink cartridges). That said, my biggest complaint is the slowness of this printer in getting ready. It takes over 30 seconds from hitting the ‘print’ button to getting the first sheet of the printout - and that is when the printer is warm. I have other Brother printers that get the sheet out in about 1/2 the time - but they are more expensive models. Broke in under two years of light use This printer worked well, but broke broke in under two years and I don't print that much. Most printers I had in the past lasted at least 5 years or longer. I called Brother and they tried to help, but said to bring it into a authorized service which was estimated to cost around $125 to $175 to fix "Print UNABLE 05". Fax, Scan, and copy worked well. This is the worst all in 1 printer ever Stopped working in 8 months of light home use. The toner that came with it in the box when I bought it jusr ran out so it’s the first time to replace it and it’s not working anymore. It kept saying, “replace toner” even if I already replaced it with a fresh, straight from the foil package, original brother toner. Brother is great. Find a different model I love Brother products so I am especially disappointed that this one is so bad. There are serious network issues with this product and no firmware updates to address them. I don't believe that my unit is bad, it seems to be the way networking is handled period. Networking wired or wireless frequently doesn't connect to the network. It doesn't actually follow the settings. The only change that can be made is to reset all of the network settings so it will at least temporarily pick up ... read more
Great Paperweight You want to connect to it... good luck. Once it is finally up and running good if you don't use it for a day or so the computers will completely lose it and won't connect again.
