Could be better It could easily be made better. Always wanting you to change toner. Google how to over ride toner low warning. This is my third Brother and by far the worst.
Garbage Was great for a bit. Now it won't connect to my wireless network at all. Also cannot connect to OneNote to save my life. Really disappointed in Brother. Would send it back if I could.

Brother Is Not With You Every Step Of The Way Purchased this MFC in Feb of this year. 5 months later the drum assembly is squeaking. So annoying. Everyone is complaining. WARNING! DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRINTER UNLESS YOU WANT TO PURCHASE A TON OF TONER!!! We purchased this printer on June 17, 2016. We installed it on June 23, 2016 and in 30 days and we are on our FOURTH toner! The toner that we put in Friday (#4) is already down to 76%. To put the amount of of ink that we use in perspective, we had an HP printer and replaced the ink every 30-45 days - NOT WEEKLY like this printer. Bad as a cloud-printer I've chosen this MFC printer/scanner primarily because it was said to be cloud-ready. And it was extremely disappointing to see that for cloud-print it is extremely slow: when printing a multi-page document via cloud print it prints one page, cools down, warms up, prints another page. I've tried connecting the printer via WiFi or Ethernet, tried printing tiny (but multi-page) documents, tried using the Brother iPrint app -- all the same. Not user friendly for faxing!! Sending a fax is a nightmare!! The papers being faxed will not feed into the printer anywhere, therefore you have to open lid, change each sheet and close in order for it to scan what is being sent. If your fax is more that one sheet, it's extremely frustrating and time consuming.
Worked fine until the end of June when the wireless stopped ... I purchased this printer scanner in February. Worked fine until the end of June when the wireless stopped working. Now the only way to connect to it is via an Ethernet cable which is VERY inconvenient for me since now it has to sit in the room with the router and not in my office where it was intended to be.
